If you are after a strong, quality 7Speed cassette then look no further.Fitted 2 weeks ago and clocked up 60miles, thrown all weather conditions and gradients at it, mud, grit, oil & other general road dirt. All of which it continually ploughs smoothly through shifting without fail.It's Shimano, don't skimp... you get what you pay for! 10/10

Was seeking a cassette with a few more teeth for an old rider on an old road bike and this did the trick. 7 speed stuff is getting a bit thin on the ground now. Thanks tredz!

It's OEM Shimano so its going to be good. It's not XTR so it might be a couple of grams heavier but it works. And, for those who've been riding 8-speed and like it, this was/is the answer. The price was amazing and it came TWO DAYS EARLIER THAN EXPECTED. That was really amazing and great because the old cassette was skipping cogs and a real pain because it made the bike essentially unrideable. THANK YOU!

Very nice looking cassette,less weighing than others. It will help me increase my bicycle ride speed . have not installed it yet, just need a freewheel hub rim, on my next shopping list will do it...
I bought this cassette to replace an aging Shimano that came with my bike, also 7 gear. What I like about this version is the lower steps between gears. I had my regular mechanic install it on a new wheel. Very smooth, quiet and shifts seamlessly.
I recently took advantage of the free bike check. I hadn't been using my bike much and wanted to get backon the road again. I booked my slot on line and the mechanic gave it a thorough check. I knew my gears and breaks weren't right, which is what was confirmed by the mechanic. I had a very informative discussion with the engineer who told me exactly what was required to get my bike runni g smooth again. I was very pleased at the price and how quickly I could get it back. Booked in and returned within 2 days. I am very happy to be riding again thanks to the great team at Halfords
Excellent product bought as exact replacement for existing 8 gear cassette. Due to my own limited skills was fitted by a professional and bike is now good as new with smooth gear changes.
Pros: I received the product in a timely manner. It's of standard Shimano quality which I've always found to be very good. Cons: It will not be robust enough for my application. The lowest two gears do not engage the freewheel directly. They are riveted to each other and then to the third gear which does engage the cassette freewheel. The rivets can be seen in the picture (gold color) but I didn't notice them when I ordered the cassette. This is probably okay for a standard non-assisted bicycle, but my application is to use this cassette with a 750W mid-drive power-assist that runs through the bicycle drivetrain. I don't believe the rivets will hold up to the torque that the power-assist motor can provide over time. Weight is of little concern for my application... While I don't recommend this cassette, that's only for anyone with a similar application to mine. I required an urgent replacement for my winter bike. This has been a good experience, quick supply, reasonable price and a nice piece of kit.
This cassette is jam up. Installed on the Schwinn Twinn tandem with a 36v 350w rear motor. Handles the power perfect with great 9 speed gear choices. Very pleased with this cassette.
