I decided to pick a couple of these up to go with a new wheel set, and I noticed an immediate upgrade in stopping power! Even before they were fully bedded in, they were outperforming the 6-bolt TRP rotors that I had been running. As an added bonus (call me vain), they just look incredible! Sure, they're pretty pricey as rotors go, but in my opinion, brakes and helmets are the two areas where it's worth splurging.

As light as XTR but also keeps your wallet heavy

Black paint. That’s what you’re paying for. Some black men paint when you’re choosing XTR over this. Switch from Ultegra on the road bike for a lil more bite.

Do you really need it?

Ok, just remember, more metal, more room for it to get hit, means more straightening! Also, really weigh it out; the kind of riding you do, do you really need it??I don't need it, but I got it, no regrets! You are here, just get it, its awesome !! Enjoy the ride

Great Rotors
20 October 2022

I love the look and feel of these rotors. They have yet to squeak and they have excellent stopping power. They look sharp too. I highly recommend them.

Great replacement to the slx
24 June 2022

Swapped out a well wore shimano slx and replaced with this rotor. The mt800 is a bit lighter and also seems to perform a bit better with identical (new) brake pads once they were bedded in.Cambria pricing and delivery were excellent. Will likely buy this rotor again assuming they don't wear out faster than the slx. To soon to tell

Great rotors and customer service
30 July 2021

Shimano XT 160mm rotors provide new wheelset silent and uber effective stopping power on hard pack, loose, and chunky gravel terrains. As usual, Jenson had items in stock and was remarkably fast with processing —> shipping. Bravo.

Light Weight Stop Great
30 August 2022

Look beefier than traditional rotors but are actually lighter in weight than most.I'm running 203mm front and rear and they do a great job.Seem to dissipate the heat a little better on those long descents when I'm dragging my brakes.

Works as intended and installs easy. Just be sure to bed them in aggressively prior to taking them for a ride or you will likely be disappointed. You likely already knew this, but just incase ...

Running with SRAM
25 August 2022

I needed new pads and rotors for my SRAM Force setup. I went with these because they're both cheaper and lighter than the higher end SRAM + they include the lockrings. I'd get these again as so far they perform just as well as SRAMs highest end floating rotors that I just took off.

There’s No Stopping Me Now!

Front brake callipers are under rated in the pursuit of speed. See how slow you go when you brake one? Having snapped the pad mounting point on exactly the same model, purely from being an upper body strength monster like most cyclists, I replaced it with the exact same model but this time tightened it with my toes. Works great. Arrived next day.
