(130 reviews)

The Shimano Dura Ace 9200 crankset catches the eye immediately! The striking cut-out in the Shimano Dura Ace 9200 crank arms prevents superficial wear on the crank and gives more freedom of movement with the shoes. The A-symmetrical mounting points of the chainrings offer the most efficient power transmission. The shifting speed under load is also very impressive. This is partly due to further optimisation of the shifting guides on the inside of the chainrings.

I do not know if I will ever feel safe putting maximum power to the 9100 model again. The DuraAce crank is one of the best looking cranks on the market but with the knowledge that it can fail is very troublesome. IMO a crank should never break unless it has been in a previous accident. My carbon/ti has never been in an accident.... Show more

It’s Dura Ace. It’s expensive. It replaced a Dura Ace 9000 chainset whose chainrings became detached from the carrier, which was entertaining at the time. Works just fine with an 11sp DA 9000 groupset.... Show more
