Shimano Dura-Ace FC-9200-P Power Meter Chainset Working extensively with the world’s finest professional cycling teams, Shimano has created the Dura-Ace FC-9200-P Power Meter Chainset. Seamlessly integrated into both crank arms and completely sealed from the weather, the power measuring strain gauges are precisely calibrated to achieve power readings accurate to within +/-1.5%. Additionally, independent measurements from both legs are monitored, allowing the rider to address particular pedalling imbalances if necessary. The power readings are communicated in real-time to compatible bike computers via the wireless ANT+ and Bluetooth protocols, while the rechargeable internal battery can last for up to 300 hours of riding between charges. A simple zero offset calibration procedure ensures rides start with exceptional accuracy, and the active temperature compensation feature keeps power readings consistent through all conditions. HollowTech II aluminium crank arms are light but incredibly stiff, and the chainrings have refined tooth profiles to grant extra efficiency when used with a 12-speed chain. The HollowTech II 24mm diameter spindle finishes the design, for excellent power transfer and bottom bracket compatibility.

DuraAce Cranks are subject to failure

My DuraAce power meter crank recently cracked during a traning ride. This crankset was purchased to replace the power meter crank that suddenly failed. In over fifty years of competitive and leisure riding I have never had a crankset fail. Two components that should never fail are handlebars and crank sets because the outcome can be horrific. Shimano has already had a recall for an earlier composite crankset that had numerous failures that caused injury. My original crankset was just out of warranty. I am now providing the Consumer Protection Agency with information that Shimano may not have adequately resolved the manufacturing issues of their composite crankset. I do not know if I will ever feel safe putting maximum power to the 9100 model again. The DuraAce crank ... MoreMy DuraAce power meter crank recently cracked during a traning ride. The DuraAce crank is one of the best looking cranks on the market but with the knowledge that it can fail is very troublesome. IMO a crank should never break unless it has been in a previous accident. My carbon/ti has never been in an accident.

Got mine from Sigma Sports. This product is a waste of money. Its inaccurate in many ways. It is simply a joke fom Shimano to sell this to people. Avoid at all costs

Loving the new Shimano 12 speed. Front shifting is very fast and lots of feel with braking. Easy set up through E-Tube.

It’s Dura Ace. It’s expensive. It replaced a Dura Ace 9000 chainset whose chainrings became detached from the carrier, which was entertaining at the time. Works just fine with an 11sp DA 9000 groupset.
