The Shimano FX series of reels cannot be beat for value and quality. Very smooth action. I have a 1000 reel, a 2500 reel, and a 4000 reel. I use the two smaller ones for light fishing. They are my go-to reels for bream and whiting fishing. I would definitely buy them again.

Great little reel, good value for money. Been squiding and fishing and works great.
Smooth as silk. Versatile reel. Highly recommended
A great reel at a great price. Encompassing features one would expect from a proven brand, plus more! Comes spoiled with fluorescent yellow monofilament line. Simply connect to your rod, prepare your rig and start fishing! Smooth action, great presentation, great value for money!
Still havent used the product. Appears to be very suitable for the what is required.
Great reel very well made. Even came with line.
Outstanding value for money. It feels exactly the same as a Shimano Sienna despite having one less bearing. 10/10 highly recommended
