Shimano GRX RD-RX810 11-Speed Rear Derailleur
Shimano GRX, with its gravel specific ergonomics, optimized gearing options, rugged reliability, and quiet and stable drivetrain, sets itself apart from the rest of the component world. This rear derailleur is designed for fast and precise shifting performance. The Shadow Plus design uses a chain stabilising switch that reduces chain bounce in rough terrain, maintaining a more stable drive and shifting. The high tolerance cold forged aluminium link plates and body construction make it extremely light and durable. It is compatible with 11-speed HG chains and has a wide gear ratio compatible up to 11-34T. Suitable for use with double chainsets, such as those found on gravel bikes. The weight of the derailleur is 255 g.

Have Shimano on all my bikes. Decided to go with the new GRX on my gravel bike. Not a lot different than an XT derailleur. I am running the 2x10 GRX crankset with the GRX 2x11 front and rear derailleur and everything is working fine. I am also running a 42t rear XT cassette with no issues. Not sure I could run a bigger cassette unless I got a longer b screw. As it is now I have about 5 or 6 mm between the 43t cog and the derailleur jockey.

got this as part of my grx drive train upgrade on my gravel bike. i have the grx double crankset and the 32t option is the one you would need. it's the rd810. with the clutch! i did consider getting the rd800 but on shimano's site it lists the 800 compatible with the single ring set up. in case i went down that route. but it's shift geometry would be different as it supports a 42t low gear. i stuck with what shimano lists on their site for my 2x 11sp set up on my gravel bike.i was used to the 2x 105 setup that i currently have and prefer the ability to find a gear i can spin in. i have tried 1x and like the the simplicity. i have that on my mtb. but for road/off-road less technical terrain a 2x gives me more flexibility. also chain line is less severe with the ... Moregot this as part of my grx drive train upgrade on my gravel bike. i have the grx double crankset and the 32t option is the one you would need. it's the rd810. with the clutch! i did consider getting the rd800 but on shimano's site it lists the 800 compatible with the single ring set up. in case i went down that route. but it's shift geometry would be different as it supports a 42t low gear. i stuck with what shimano lists on their site for my 2x 11sp set up on my gravel bike.i was used to the 2x 105 setup that i currently have and prefer the ability to find a gear i can spin in. i have tried 1x and like the the simplicity. i have that on my mtb. but for road/off-road less technical terrain a 2x gives me more flexibility. also chain line is less severe with the 2x.a 30-32 gear will be better than a 42-42 on the singlehaving ,a 46-11 high gear will be good for my riding capability.it came in all original shimano grx packaging.

The Shimano GRX RD-RX 810 is an 11 speed, smooth/ snappy shifting, clutched rear derailleur - ideal for Gravel and Cyclocross. The New Shimano GRX line was tailor-made for this application and the cost line up of components is stretched out over the entire groupset; not just the controls or any particular component being hugely expensive. The quality for the "800" tier of GRX is similar to Ultegra; indeed, the GRX clutched derailleur takes heavily from the Ultegra tech that came before it. I am using the GRX RD-RX 810 on my (otherwise) Shimano 105 equipped cross bike and Its been solid and reliable. Would highly recommend,

Good product; competitive pricing; compatible with Shimano Ultegra 6800 groupset.Box labelled wrongly - labelled RX812 for 42T.The clutch feature has reduced chain slap during bumpier rides but still not completely gone. Very tricky to get rear wheel off and on again.
Wanted to swap out 105 for the GRX RD for better handling off road. Swap out was pretty easy and works like a charm. No more chain slapping!
At the beginning of the year I upgraded my gravel's brakes and drivetrain to Shimano GRX, it came from SRAM Apex single chainring. They installed a GRX-810 derailleur at the store, but lately I was having trouble engaging 11-42. By switching to GRX-812, this problem has disappeared. Very happy with the update.
100% original rear derailleur shimano grx rd rx810 2x 11 speed, I am very happy with this purchase, everything is great, highly recommended
The GRX rear derailleur is working fine and I'm actually running it with an 11-36 cassette.I'd suggest that rear wheel removal/replacement is a lot easier with the clutch "off."I would recommend this product, especially if you want to be able to get a bit lower gearing on your road bike, without making the exercise prohibitively expensive.
My gravel bike came with Shimano 105 7000, which was excellent, but had quite a bit of chain slap over rough ground. I switched to the GRX 810 derailleur, and now the chain slap is gone. Shifting is still easy and smooth, but the GRX derailleur has a switchable clutch, offering a lighter shifting mode when I am staying on smooth roads. This was a straightforward, drop-in replacement.
Shimano quotes at 34t max cassette and a 40 tooth total capacity but they are wimps. I can cover a 42t cassette with a 46/30t front chainring combo without excess chain slack low.and AND room to go big big. Thats a 47 tooth capacity. Your results may vary, but definitely more capable than Shimano would claim.
