Having a wide foot, it can be a bit of a risk selecting the appropriate size without trying on first but these are perfect for me. Materials and construction are attractive and easy to clean. There is extra room to move the cleats backward behind the ball of the foot. I had no discomfort during the first 100km ride. Probably the best fitment I've ever had. I would recommend these especially at this price point.

my first clip in shoe bought for use on my peleton bike. Fits pretty well, I have a long narrow foot.Bikeshoes.com was a revelation for me. A competitor had sent me a shoe that did not at all fit and my bike was due to be delivered in 3 days. .I called Bikeshoes.com, A woman there found a shoe that fit me and suggested I try a size up also. She made sure it shipped it that day, I had shoes in 1 day. And I easily returned the one that did not fit the next day. If you want complete service call these people.

My 3 star concerns sizing, not their business. I'm a true 43W-US9, show size reads 43=8.9 (which I purchased). WAYYY to tight. I found a Giro from others that fit perfectly (as they described 43=9). Not Bikeshoes fault as much a non-universal scale. Their return system was simple / perfect 5 STA. Good company

I purchased these to replace some entry level Giro Stylus road shoes. I went with Shimano because I like every product I have ever got form them. But These have been a let down. Overall they seem nice except for the soles, which are very flexy! My standard is low as I am comparing to a 6 year old pair of entry level shoes. Please don't ignore the reviews that state that these are flexy, they are flexy!I am a 46 year old 230 lb. recreational rider. I ride for fitness and enjoyment. I mostly just cruse, but sometimes I hammer.
I tried these shoes after finding the regular width Shimano shoes too narrow. However, the soles of these shoes, and the removable footbed, are exactly the same width as the regular size.Apparently, Shimano adds more material to the upper and calls the shoe “wide”, when the shoe is actually a higher volume shoe, not a wider shoe. The removable footbed is thin and cheap, the sole flexes almost as much as a street shoe, and there’s little or no ventilation.I’ll try another brand, maybe Lake, which offers wide shoes that are actually wider.
Was tossing up between these & the RC5 (boa & velcro). Went with these as I'm relay only entry level rider and were at a good price. Find it difficult to get a good snug fit. They're okay, my foots not coming out but there are areas I wish it could be a bit more snug. Also not a big fan of the new shimano "no tongue" design.
I gave up road cycling due to shoes and saddle fit. I have wide feet and got blisters no matter how thick the socks were. After trials and errors, I settled on these shoes. They are fantastic. Wide at the widest part of my feet. Feel like they malleable and molded to my feet. Light and stiff. Totally recommend it. I'm taking them on my next multi-day trip riding the Shenandoah Ridge. Also grateful and appreciative of how bikeshoes.com allows me to return the shoes and refund them so quickly. Top notch customer services!! And no - they are not paying me to say that :)
This shoe replaced on that I had used for over 10 years and recently used on a 3,762 mile tour across the country. Those shoes were worn out but I was nervous about replacing them. The Shimano RC3 shoes are a perfect fit. Literally, I had a smaller shoe size and had to order these online. When they arrived and I put them on, I knew these were the ones. Having used them for a couple of months on the training, I’m only enjoying them more. The RC3 shoes are a solid shoe that I expect to get many years of wear from.
Just arrived from UPS and dropped off to me!!! Got my exacto knife out and opened the box and gave the shoe a look over! Checked the size of the shoe to make sure it's the right size according to my foot measurement using a (Ritz Shoe Stik)!! I ordered a Shimano Entry Level Road Bike Shoes, US Men's 7.5W and it is True to Size!! Just installed a new set of cleats, adjusted them accordingly and clipped into my bike to see how the fit actually is and it is an Excellent Fit!! Shoes are a snug fit, BOA dial works great, Holds the shoe to my foot pretty good, also like the Cleat mounting area as it makes for mounting Shimano cleats very easy!
I have about 60 miles on these shoes using Look delta cleats on Shimano pedals. I was worried because they are relatively inexpensive shoes but so far so good. The width has been very helpful - normally the part of my foot right behind my left pinky gets squashed - that is not the case here. I was also noticing in my old shoes I was feeling a burning sensation on the souls of my feet around 20 miles. That has not happened with these shoes. I rode 32 miles today in one run and no pain of any kind in my feet.
