The Shimano Rd-M8100 XT 12-Speed Rear Derailleur Shadow+ GS is designed for fast and precise shifting performance, optimized for any trail. It features a super low profile design and optimized slant angle for super light shifting action. The Shadow plus system includes a chain stabilising switch that reduces chain bounce in rough terrain, maintaining a more stable drive and shifting. A single tension spring prevents contact with the chainstay, resulting in a silent ride. The derailleur also features a rubber bumper on the pulley cage for added silent drive. The 13T pulleys and decreased derailleur tension prevent high chain tension in low gears. Direct cable routing prevents snagging from any trail side hazards. The derailleur is made with cold forged wide alloy links and pivot body, and features four fluorine-coated link pin bushings. A strong return spring provides a positive shifting feel. This derailleur is specifically designed to work with XT M8100 12-speed 1x drivetrains. It also features durable sealed 13T bearing pulleys for low friction. The top normal spring uses the spring to select higher gears. The maximum low sprocket is 45T (1x 12-speed).
