BikeShoes is an excellent company. They have a broad selection and have stock in many sizes. There Free Return policy was a reason why I bought from them, and actually needed to return a pair that were too small. Super quick shipment made this transaction a breeze. Btw, they even spiced it up with a great discount code when I signed up to their website. I would definitely recommend buying from them (and I usually don't write reviews)!! Oh, btw, the wide version of the XC3 worked for my wide foot, but actually needed to choose a single size larger than my normal size (reg street shoe 9.5, but needed a size 10.5, size45, for this bike shoe). I am relatively new to road cycling and recently purchased a Giant Contend AR 3 bike (used) with some SPD cleats/pedals. The bike also came with little used Giant Flux bike shoes in my size (bonus!). After 10 rides with these shoes, my feet (EE-EEE width) were aching and super red/swollen on the inside and outside of my foot...I thought, "Well, I guess this is what it is; my feet are just going to hurt". Fortunately, I have very supportive wife, who said I should get what I need to "Do this cycling thing right", encouraging me to purchase a pair of 'wide' bike shoes. Once I started researching wide bike shoes, I realized these can get quite expensive (compared to āregularā width shoes) and was fortunate to come across Bikeshoes.com. These Shimano SH-XC3 wide shoes are amazing! The were just as comfortable as my New Balance wide sneakers and I love quick closure system. Bottom line ā great bike shoes for wide feet.

First off, the shipping was quick considering I'm on the other side of the Atlantic and I just selected regular shipping. Took only about a week. The shoes look great and appears to be very well made in typical Shimano quality.Excellent value for money and the Boa closure system allows for a great fit. Light weight and just enough stiffness that still allows you to walk comfortably.Highly recommended.

Iāve been cycling about a year and wanted some āproperā shoes. My normal everyday shoes are size 46 and I ordered a size larger - 47 which fit very well.As a first time wearer I like that the SPD cleats fitted to these shoes do not protrude and are easy to walk in.The SPD cleat system is also easy to use and I quickly became confident in these shoes.Shoes feel high quality and well made.Highly recommended.
I have broad feet and narrow heel and Shimano shoes both MTB shoes for flat pedals and these road shoes fit my feet just right. It's not easy as many cycling shoes are a very precise fit and almost always too tight when feet swell in summer and also too cold in winter as there's not enough space for warm air to be trapped to give some insulation. I'm very pleased with the immediately comfortable fit, as well as the build quality and features for the price. I would buy Shimano footwear again.
I purchased 3 pairs of Shimano shoes this year including these XC3. Out of 3 pairs, 2 of them are MTB shoes for my long rides. I found XC3 is much lighter then my Shimano MT7 and other Giro MTB shoes. These shoes almost looks and feels like my other Shimano road shoes except the recessed SPD cleats. These shoes feels quite comfortable and fits nice. I will provide and update in 3 months once I use these for few hundred miles. Thanks to bikeshoes.com for quick delivery. Seems they were shipped from Wantagh, Long Island, NY which is close to where I live. Glad to do business with a Long Island company.
These are a replacement for my old SH-MO89 'Torban' mountainbike shoes that I mostly use for road and touring. These are about 80g lighter - which I like a lot. They are also quite flimsy. The stitching is less than half as heavy.I was looking forward to moving from a velcro/ratchet closure to a boa. Wow, was that a mistake. It will suit many people, but the shoe is made W I D E.Unfortunately, the boa only tightens the mid-foot and the upper foot. For example, with the boa done up ALL of the way, at the top (near your leg) there's no gap left between the sides of the shoe. It has tightened in width by about 10 cm. Towards your toes, the two halves of the shoe are still 3cm apart and it's toghtened by about 1cm.That's right: 10cm at the ankle and only 1 cm above ...Ā MoreThese are a replacement for my old SH-MO89 'Torban' mountainbike shoes that I mostly use for road and touring. These are about 80g lighter - which I like a lot. For people with wide feet (E) there's a wide option, so I didn't expect these would suit a C and D width.I'll keep with my incredibly long-wearing MO89s while looking for some way of packing these out without making them too "sloppy".Overall, for people with a C width foot: 4 out of 5.For me and anyone with a narrow foot: 2 out of 5.
I got the Shimano XC3 (SH-XC300) shoes as an upgrade over my older Shimano SH-M086L MTB which have two velcro straps plus a ratcheting buckle and a bit on the portly side at 455g per shoe with SH51 cleats (almost 400g without). The single BOA on the XC3's are nice and much faster to put on and take off.I ordered the same size euro 44 as my M086L's (no fit problems as I am a size 9 US shoe) and the XC3 shoes weigh between 324g (right shoe) and 327g (left shoe). Online I found a listed weight of 332g per shoe, so it's just about right.Stiffness of the XC3 is 5 out of 12 on the Shimano stiffness scale. But let's face it, on a gravel bike you're not likely to be pedal mashing like on a road bike going hard for that KOM unless that's reeeeally your thing.Since my gravel bike weighs another 1-2 lbs more than my road bike, I was looking to reduce some weight here and there and these fit the bill. Great price on BikeINN compared to my LBS for these shoes even with shipping to Canada. Hard to go wrong with these at a price to performance ratio.
Firstly, they come small - I usually wear EU44 and was very surprised when the website recommended buying size EU46, but I went with it. This turned out to be a good move - the shoe fits me well in this size. It's just in right size for me, not too loose and not too tight.BOA lacing system is working fine and allows put as much tension and tightness as I need.I like how quickly they dry due the material used in them. They are also comfortable to walk in both on road and off road.Lastly, they look really smart and pretty stylish too.Minor issue is feet fatigue on longer rides when feet are tightly locked inside a shoe and there is not much movement for them. But I guess this must be a case for majority of this type of shoes.Overall, solid and quality shoe ...Ā MoreFirstly, they come small - I usually wear EU44 and was very surprised when the website recommended buying size EU46, but I went with it. As always a very well built shoe from Shimano. Great to have boa at this pricepoint. Feels stiff after months of hard use; comfortable inner; decent water resistance for lighter rains, well improved by mudguards.Wears definitely very narrow(there is a wider model too); as usual size up one from the regular UK size.
