Shimano SL-M7100 Shift Lever - Right SLX 12-Speed
Tough, aggressive and lightweight 12-speed SLX Rapidfire shift levers with vivid indexing and 2-way release function. Light to the touch but positive and crisp, vivid indexing provides a constant amount of shift lever force across all 12 sprockets. 2-way release allows shifting from various riding positions; the upper lever still performs the same shift function, but it can now swing in either direction allowing it to be released by the thumb or index finger. For use with 12-speed transmissions only. The shifters' pod design allows the use of these shifters with any brake I-spec-II lever. A removable optical gear display with integrated cover allows the use of these shifters with any brake lever. A barrel adjuster is included for fine gear tuning. The shifters come complete with inner and outer cables. A multi-position adjustable mount is also included for custom lever positioning. The I-spec-II design is developed to attach directly to I-spec-II brake levers.

Really nice 12s shifter. I've paired it with my Sram NX derailleur since I dislike Sram's trigger ergonomics. Never had a problem and the shifting performance is good. Probably with Sram's one it'll be top notch but I'm satisfied and I really like the ability to shift down the cassette with the index finger.

The XT shifter isn't for everyone. Even though it has instant release and double upshift, the upshifts are stiffer. It wasn't for me. The SLX has a great balance between performance and price, and the shifts are much lighter.

Shifts well, good ergonomics. Based on previous Shimano shifters I've owned, I assume it will last a long time without requiring maintenance.
Really nice 12s shifter. I've paired it with my Sram NX derailleur since I dislike Sram's trigger ergonomics. Never had a problem and the shifting performance is good. Probably with Sram's one it'll be top notch but I'm satisfied and I really like the ability to shift down the cassette with the index finger.
