A well-made quality rod. Light weight and easy for a child to handle as their first rod. Caught a fish on its first use. I'd prefer it to have a slightly lighter, springier action, but that's personal preference.

Am replacing same rod as they eventually rust around the collars even though we wash them thoroughly.We use them to fish from kayaks.They can handle most fish, my wife caught a 1.2M Kingfish with hers no problems at all.Great rod for the price.

If you fish from a JetSki, scooter, motorbike or car and you want a super compact rod then this is the one. Never change the price, never change the function. Only negative is it needs to be built a little stronger, I break one of these per month!! Better build please (hence the 4 stars), otherwise perfect for portability

I bought the 12ft 6-10kg rod a few months ago and it is a good rod for the compactability and bend it can get in the rod. It is best to be used in a gradual wind up when casting such as lobbing baits a decent distance.This rod has lasted me a few months but had snapped right near the butt of the rod and has unfortunately ended its career. You can use it for lures and is great fun in fighting salmon or even smaller fish like bream or whiting.Would consider it to be better paired for bait fishing on beaches and with an Alvey style of fishing.Best not to cast aggressive as that had broke the rod. Not to say it is a bad rod, it just is only good for only surf and bait styles of fishing.
A little bit fiddly to get the runners to line up but it does what I wanted - tucks away at the back of the kayak with reel attached 'just in case' I decide to have a fish and has already landed a decent flathead - 50cm - without problem. Good value for money.
I already reviewed my own that I have used with great success & have now purchased two more for my two Mates who checked out mine and both wanted one straight away.Love mine so far. :)
The speed of delivery for this purchase was amazing. The rod is abit on the stiff side but its what you should expect from any telescopic rod (all those double sections in the telescopic function). The price is on par if not better than alot of other cheap knock offs from china. It packs up nicely and will be now going with me everywhere i cant take my one piece rods. Super happy with this companies service and will definitely be back to buy more in the future.
Light and good for casting lures. been using for a few months and no rust on the ring guides. Happy with the rod.
I purchased this rod as I have got one that is seven yrs old and I use it often for beach, rock and river fishing, cast up to 90 to 100 meters with a number 8 ball sinker and 15 lb braid . Catch Taylor, flat head, bream and the road handles incredible well. I use telescopic as we caravan about and is so practical all over rod.It gives me food and satisfactionHarry
Got the 6’ Rod last time, just added 3 of the 6’6 rods to the boat. Brilliant rods for squid, whiting, Taylor etc. great for the boat because they collapse for easy storage. Have bought other brands previously but the eyelets always fail or the rod to reel connection rusts out. Highly Recommend this product over other makes.
