The Taipan rod is quite well made for the price. Shimano and Fuji quality. The 7ft 4-8kg has a nice action, perfect for flathead and bream.

Nice looking rod.Backbone was good ,casts light baits well .Mates well with a shimano baitrunner with 20lb mono.Got me a couple small snapper its first time on on the water.
Bought this last weekend and already running strong. Record using a 8000 or higher reel, like a Shimano Socorro. Only downside is cast range.
