The rod is light and very well balanced. From some preliminary testing flicking lures with a Shimano Curado DC 150HG the rod seemed to have a relatively light and sensitive tip but still with some serious grunt when put under load. After using for a while I knew it would be perfect to target estuary fish in the river. I've now gone on to pair it with my Shimano Calcutta 400.

Bought this rod for a heavy spin setup! Has not disappointed yet! This rod feels great, super light and feels strong. Casts really well matched with a 5000 Sustain and XBraid! Super keen to see what this rod can handle

I'm more than ecstatic to have this rod in my collection, truth be told i doubted the benefits of spending the extra money on a full graphite ultra light rod, but now I'm all in after taking it out to the small streams of the new England, paired with a little sienna 1000 and 8lb braid this beauty gets those micro plastics and small spinners out as far as I need them with incredible accuracy.

First I got the 2-4kg and absolutely loved it, so I ended up with 4 of the range, 1-3 2-4 3-6 4-8kg, they all are awesome to use and feel great in the hand, plenty of strength and feeling, in the process of selling the 2-4kg so I can upgrade to the 2-4kg premium
The shimano T curve baitcaster rod is just brilliant quality and value for money I got mine on the black Friday sale and saved big time. At 6 4inches long an 5 to 10kg line classes this rod has plenty of stopping power just top quality from shimano but what else could you expect from the number 1 leader in fishing tackle
I brought this rod 3 weeks ago for Australian bass fishing. Awesome little rod highly recommended paired with a 2500 stradic 10lb braid
Another quality product from Shimano.I have fitted a Calcutta 400B to mine, and it does an excellent job of putting the brakes on the big barra & jacks that are trying to make it back into the snags
Extremely happy with how this rod handles.I have paired it up with a Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 4000 to target, barra, threadfin, jacks etc.So far this rod had been awesome, sensitive tip while still having the grunt to handle a decent fish.Have also brought in some large (and annoying) sharks which the rod handle with ease.I would 100% recommended this product.
This rod is amazing, it's a shame the first one I received was snapped in two pieces when it arrived in the mail. I spoke to my local store and they organised a replacement which was good however, overall it took a month to get it and the local manager snapped at me when I called to follow up 3.5 weeks into the process
