The new X5 blanks these rods are built on have a reduced diameter, but higher torsional twist resistance and greater resistance to overloading. The Hyper series also features the strongest, lightest game fishing componentry available; Rollers are Aftco, with oversized tips, while the sword rod makes use of braid-friendly Fuji SiC fixed guides and tip. Butt configurations utilise Pac Bay Channel Lock Seats and custom detachable carbon butts, with the exception of the 37 and 60kg chair rods, which are Aftco Unibutts. Foregrips are Winn polymer that provide the custom build look and function, but without the price.
