Shimoda Action X40 V2 Starter Kit (w/ Medium DSLR Core Unit) | Army Green

Overall I love the bag, but it's not perfect. I purchased this bag predominately to attempt to one bag work trips were I need to take my 16MBP and wanted to drag along my camera and personal laptop so I could explore and photo the places I am sent.It's a heavy bag and it looks relatively big, and when loaded down with lots of tech it's REALLY heavy. Thankfully the strap system distributes the weight well, especially with the aluminum frame.I'm indifferent about the organization. I find most insert based packs to be fairly annoying because they seem to take up a lot of room but not really maximize its usage. This bag is no exception but I knew that going in and can't fault the bag for being exactly what I expected. Also OMG the pockets. there's more of them than expected and while this is generally good....I need to work on a system to keep them organized as its easy to lose things in the bag and have to hunt everywhere.My biggest complaint with this bag is the zippers. Well the pull more specifically. They seem to get hung where the stick in a certain position that makes using them fairly annoying. I really wish they used the zipper pull string/system from the Tenba Axis V2 lineup here because they are soo much better. The zipper it self is great.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and look forward to taking this along with me for many adventures to come.

No compartments to put camera gear in just empty bag will be returning it disappointed

Good Points: Comfortable, spacious, strongImprovement Points: This bag has all a photographer needs and then some, good protection for your camera, comfort for waring and storage for carrying extra clothes etc, std it’s rugged build should ensure it will last for years.
