The mechanisms (main visor, sun visor, vents) feel solid and not flimsy like some other helmet brands.Motocard earn five stars too, for very competitive pricing, fast efficient despatch and excellent communications.UPS as the courier service get ZERO stars. I may have just been unlucky but UK buyers beware!!! Even though Motocard included the correct commodity coding (for UK import requirements) UPS tried charging me VAT on this VAT-exempt product. I fully expected to have to pay the 2% import duty, but not VAT or their £11.50 "brokerage charge". UPS customer service is nothing short of woeful. Love the helmet . Good for super sport bikes and speed up to150mph. The description of helmet is different with what you get. Sadly should buy every bit of this helmet separately such as an expensive dark visor,pinlock,breach piece etc…

Very pleased with this helmet - I particularly like the ease of use of the drop down visor (when you get used to operating it) and the visor opener being on the side rather than front like the NXR 2. I find it very good for wind noise and it's also very comfortable. I'm a Shoei Large, and this fits perfectly. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the ratchet fastener, I prefer a D ring. The Notch has a high gloss finish which I prefer to the Matt versions as it's easier to clean.

It's light and well done vented. Having been used to D rings the quick release buckle is easy to use. It is amongst the quietest helmets I've owned. I did have a little difficulty operating the sun visor, mainly as the sliding switch is angled whereas my previous helmet was a more logically vertical operation. I've yet to fit the pinlock insert so can't yet comment if it works well or not.
I ordered the wrong size at first, customer service was great, new helmet arrived quickly next day. Returning was very easy. No hassle whatsoever. The GT air2 is very comfortable, full of quality helmet.
Quality piece of head wear, good noise reduction performance, comfortable fit and excellent value for money. Only downside is the misting at slow speed although I knew this before purchasing. Really pleased with my purchase.
Perfect Helmet, after recently going back to Shoei from Schuberth. Fit is excellent and helmet is so comfortable for long rides on the S1000R. Great vision and have added a smoke visor. Pin lock takes care of the misting… and the vents have worked well on recent hot sunny days.

Let me say upfront I returned this helmet so I don't have riding experience with it. I'm giving 2 stars because the buckle dug into my throat so much I knew there was no way I could tolerate it while riding. The tinted visor doesn't go down enough either and it was very noticeable. I compared it to my much cheaper LS2 and that sucker goes all the way down like it should. I will say it felt very comfortable besides that. But for $800 I'm not going to accept the two issues I mentioned. Not even the best safety rating either.
