I finally grabbed a new pair of black Converse All Stars, and honestly, they’re such a classic. Super versatile and go with literally everything. Comfort-wise, they’re pretty decent, they fit well and are true to size but not the most cushioned shoe, although they’re lightweight and easy to wear all day. Love the pink!!

My daughter loves Converse so I buy her a new pair for school every year. She got the light pink this year and they are so cute. Such a beautiful shade of pink🩷I was hoping it wasn't medium pink like Pepto. Comfy as usual. Last year her black pair lasted the whole year worn during the week almost every day because she ignores any other brand we buy. I'll see how long these last they are lighter in color so they might get dirty looking but I'm not above washing them plus I sprayed them with sneaker protectant especially for canvas. Definitely recommend these and the color.

Not the same. Misleading description.

I’m gonna say it’s true to size or even runs a lil small because I sized a half size down because it says this style runs large but it does not. It’s weird because I have other pairs in the same size that feel fine. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s made differently that it’s more fitted but either way. Don’t size down. And yes the material is different. The ones before, the textile feels like canvas, as it should. This one feels like felt for some reason on the inside. Not what I was expecting. But I examined it too late to return it so womp womp. Yeah it’s different. And the emblem. Something is just off about it. Maybe because it’s made in Indonesia this time instead of Vietnam. Perfect Converse

I marked these true to size since the size chart recommends sizing down. I usually wear a 9.5W shoe and got these in a solid 9W. They are PERFECT in every way: 1. They are the most beautiful shade of a bubblegum/hot pink. 2. They are very comfortable! 3. They have the tab that keeps the tongue of your shoe in place. You know that little piece of fabric under your laces that you weave the laces through? Why do some converse NOT have that anymore? It bothers me so much when the tongue of a high top is all the way to the side. Anyways, get these shoes. Highly recommend 🩷

I started wearing All Stars about sixty years ago. They were my go-to shoe except for church with my family. By the time I was fifteen I was wearing a size 13 shoe. By the time I was seventeen I was wearing a solid size 14. No more All Stars for me. I could find no place with size 14 All Stars. Years passed and the electronic revolution took full hold. On a whim recently, I ventured onto shoe store websites but alas no size 14. Then the ephifany. Cheque the Converse website. And there they were, size 14 All Stars. I immediately ordered two pair and waited with great expectations for their delivery. When they arrived I was greatly pleased. The exact same shoe I remembered and they fit. Standard Converse Tennis Shoes

Another reviewer made a comment about "standard issue" high-top converse tennis shoes having thicker padding on the neck and tongue. I have no idea what Converse tennis shoes they've been wearing, but as a punk in the 1980s, these tennis shoes were required footwear, and I never wore or saw anyone else wear a pair of padded Converse high tops. In fact, we folded the neck and tongue down and wrapped the laces around our ankles. Padding would have 100% gotten in the way. Honestly, folks. Converse are just some cheap tennies. I remember having to scrape together 20 bucks for a pair, then bringing them home and abusing them - sorry, "distressing" them. 😀 ENJOY your chucks!

Very narrow!

If you have normal width feet like I do, you probably don't want to listen to the web site recommendation to go a half size down. They are ridiculously narrow. I wear a 5.5 in sandals and flats and a 6 in sneakers, since I wear socks. The 5.5s were WAY too narrow, and I've never had an issue with shoes being too narrow. The 6s are better, though almost on the edge of being too narrow still. And even looking right down at the toe box, it even looks too narrow for the rest of the shoe. I also tried a 6.5 but they fit like the 6s, just longer. I have to say these were much better fit-wise 20-30 years ago. And if you read all the complaints about people saying these run too narrow, you'd think they'd change something...

Wow, new Chucks are garbage

I bought my Chucks in March 2023. Nine months later, in December, the inside canvas has worn down to expose the plastic bits in the heel of both shoes. I work from home and spend my entire day in house shoes. When I go for walks, I wear different walking shoes. These shoes have had subjectively little streetwear and as evidence, the soles are still in near-perfect condition. The construction inside the shoe is apparently absolute garbage now.Now here's the part that makes me really mad. I buy really good socks, and I take incredible care of them so they last forever. The plastic that is now exposed inside both shoes has damaged nine pairs of socks because I didn't notice they were rubbing until after a few weeks.
