This mousse is great for wavy hair. My hair is mainly wavy but has defined curls in it and this mousse helped to define the waves AND the curl mixture. A lot of mousse's that I've tried leave most of the mousse on my hands and my hair falls flatter within a few hours. This mousse covered my hair evenly and left very little on my hands. It probably has to do with its consistency, which reminds me of fluffy slime and not your typical mousse. I will get this again and recommend it.... Show more

I have 2a/2b very fine hair. My waves are very finicky, and they tend to either love or loathe products. In terms of wave assistance/definition, this fell flat, as did my hair. For those with medium or coarse hair, or those with thick hair and/or a tighter curl pattern, this would probably be great. But if you have fine hair, thin hair, and/or loose curls/waves, I fear you’ll have a similar experience.Pros:Smells greatProvides some of the best frizz protection I’ve foundNice texture as applying to hairProduced nice wave and definition initiallyMade my hair nice and smoothCons:As soon as I brushed my hair, my waves diedMy volume flattened almost immediately... Let me start by saying, if you have fine/thin hair, or if your hair is otherwise easily weighed down, this product is not for you. That being said, when used on the appropriate hair types (coarser/thicker types with a natural curl pattern), this product is amazing! I use Moroccanoil first on my hair, then apply a small amount of my Redken curl cream, and end with whatever mousse or gel I'm using. With this product, I can skip the curl cream and still have well-defined, non-frizzy curls! I have to stress you only need a SMALL AMOUNT of this product; do NOT put your regular-sized glob of mousse in your hand! Scrunching like normal after applying is important too, even though you don't end up with the same crunch as other products. That took me some getting used ... Not my favorite mousse especially for the price. I use a better beach wave mousse that really makes my curls look awesome. This left my hair looking like an 80's rock star, frizzy and not defined curls. There's no way I would pay 41.00 for this mousse. I've used used better drug store brands, but I usually use a salon brand for my favorite mousse. I love Shu Uemura cleansing oils, but I was disappointed in the mousse.... Show more

A touch of class for hair
These products are amazing. They make the experience of self-hairdressing a unique one. These products have a very nice fragrance but most importantly, they actually do what they are supposed to do. My natural gray and wavy hair is vibrant, soft and happy. When I receive the order, the mousse arrived with the nozzle broken. I contacted Customer Service and the rep taking my call was very interested in my issue; which she immediately resolved. It was a great experience overall. I highly recommend this company and it’s Art of Hair products.... Show more

Drying as Heck
I wanted to love this but after four uses I’m set on it being a useless product for my hair. It doesn’t enhance my curls at all. It’s also very drying. For my fine hair high porosity 3c curls I find this product performs disappointingly. No wave or curl enhancement whatsoever. Only good thing I can say about it is for those who are scent sensitive this is very mild. Perhaps it’s just my hair type, but this really didn’t work for me.... Show more

Hair Miracle!
I received this #FREE full size bottle of Shu Uemura Kaze Wave Curle Mousse from BzzAgent for my honest opinion. I have never used Mousse before. My daily routine consists of washing my hair with shampoo and conditioner. Then I add some leave in conditioner, brush my hair, add some hair gel and then use some hair spray. Instead of using hair gel I used this mousse. This mousse offers an amazing scent! My hair felt so much lighter and not so weighed down by hair gel! As you can see in the picture my hair looks nice and full. It has a nice bounce and my curls are very defined! No frizz today which is a huge factor with the humidity! I am done with hair gel! I highly recommend this product to friends and family! #BzzAgent... Show more

Mousse without the crunchy texture
I wanted to love shu uemura’s Kaze Wave Curl and Wave Defining Hair Mousse as an easy way to define my natural curls and prevent frizz. Pros are that this mousse is sulfate-free and does not in any way make my hair crunchy. It is easy to apply and definitely provides a flexible hold. Cons are that I didn’t notice much of a difference in using this mousse versus styling without it. It also definitely did not reduce my frizz. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.... Show more

Nice!
I am so surprised that I actually like this mousse! I typically stay away from mousse because it usually either makes my hair crunchy or weighs it down (ironic being that it’s light weight, air filled product.) BUT this mousse actually works for me! The product is NOT STICKY. It’s light weight and helps with my curls retaining shape and helps with fly always and frizz. I have naturally curly hair. I love this product and it is definitely a new staple in my hair styling routine!... Show more

Perfect for Beach waves!
I have VERY thin hair, so thin that if I put it up into a pony tail it appears that I have balding if my hair bunches up in one area. I got a perm back in high school (I know, I get what I did, now I have to live with it) even though it was professionally done my hair has never been the same since. Before I got my perm I had my very thin hair but it was as straight as a needle. If I straightened my hair with a hot iron you would tell no difference what so ever since my hair was already so straight. After my perm it gave it a little bit of value but it was always wild. Now my perm has "fallen out" and I have random wavy/curly spots throughout. If I brush and blow dry my hair immediately after it being wet it'll be completely straight but if I don't brush it and ... Now my perm has "fallen out" and I have random wavy/curly spots throughout. If I brush and blow dry my hair immediately after it being wet it'll be completely straight but if I don't brush it and crunch it while it air dries it'll be wavy, but look crazy. I tried the Shu Uemura Kaze Wave Curl Mousse after my shower and did my normal routine when I want wavy hair, which is just crunch it with my hands, lightly blow drying the top but mostly letting it sit dry and my waves/curls have honestly never looked better! They don't looked over processed and forced like it did with my perm. They aren't hard and crunchy like they are when I use other mousses, gel, or hair spray. It honestly looks like my natural hair has a beautiful, shiny, healthy, beach wave. I absolutely love it! I did however look at the price and thought the price was a bit steep compared to similar products though. The good thing is that it does perform well, so if you don't mind spending a little bit extra for mousse, if you like to curl your hair more often then not, and/or you naturally have curly/wavy hair but want a good product to tame it or shape it a certain way, then this would be a great product to consider....
