These came in the mail via. registered post and WOW.These knives came in a beautiful Japanese print box and on opening, the knives were gorgeous and expertly hand crafted. I haven't owned a professional set of knives before but the D shaped grip/handle, and the sharpness of the thin but incredibly strong blade gives it a great utility value straight out of the box. The types of knives are a great selection to start a collection for cutting things of all sizes and hardnesses.For me, a boning knife for picking fish and the serrated option will probably be the next purchases to slice tougher things better (bread?). This set is probably best for chopping, but again I am no expert.Well worth the investment and will increase your skills in the kitchen by a wide margin.
Wonderful to use and feel great in the hand. Value for what you get, definitely worth purchasing this set, as individually they are more expensive.
Overall impression excellent. I love the precision, practicality and the elegance of the knives.
