This is my first set of serious knives for home use and they are crazy expensive but also crazy sharp! I do wish the blades didn’t chip so easily. Never put them in the dishwasher! Overall would recommend.

Love these knives!! Stay very sharp and are easy and comfortable to hold. Beautiful knife as well. Every knife fits into the block, to include the scissors. Would highly recommend!
These knives are the real deal. They make cutting effortless. It sounds stupid to say, but these are extremely sharp. Like insanely. So you have to be alert when using/handling because one slip and it can be major. But other than being a little scared of them because I’m clumsy, they’re perfect!
I love my knive! They are definitely pricey but absolutely worth the money! They stay sharp and it takes a lot of time out of prepping the food. They're also the perfect balance between light weight but just enough weight that it won't flip out of my hands!
With the exception of some of their specialty finishes, this set are the last knives I will ever buy. They serve any and all skill levels, are beautifully crafted and easy to sharpen. Ditch the block, and buy a quality magnetic knife strip, frees up counter space, better for the knives, and showcases them along the wall as the works of art that they are.

I am a huge fan of these knives I have had them for a long time and I am constantly amazed at the beauty and incredible edge retention they have. If anyone is in the market for new knives or looking to add to a collection they already have Shun is the way to go. I only wish that this Premier block came with a Santoku or perhaps a smaller chef's knife but that is more of a personal preference.
Haven't used them very long but they cut beautifully with everything I've used them on. I've always wanted good knives to work with and these are perfect
