Shure BLX24R / SM58 Wireless System (Rack) M17

This was a great buy that I purchased for my spouse who is a professional DJ. It has all the bells and whistles that one would expect from a great quality mic. He has used it for various events including wedding ceremonies, live performances, outdoor events, and public speaking. It has superior dynamic range and wide coverage, handling distances of 300 feet with ease. The tonality that this mic delivers is impressive giving crisp and clear sounds. If you are looking for a multi-purpose mic that is durable, has superb tonal quality, is DJ friendly, and transducers sound as close to the source producing it, then this is the mic for you.

Battery Life

Great Mic. Considerable “hotter” than a SM58. Has excellent range in terms of how far away you can be and it’s still crystal clear. The only down side is battery life. The reported 11 hours is more like 7-8 hours and this is switching of the Mic between breaks which are 20 minutes. To be safe I will be using new AA batteries at the start of each Gig.Apart from this issue it’s an excellent mic

Great microphone from a good brand.

A great microphone setup at a good price. The Shure brand is one that has stood the test of time. This unit works well. The power on for the microphone transmitter is in my opinion just a tiny bit too long but other than that great. I am unsure where I land now on batteries as I like the fact that they are AA meaning you can swap them out on the fly and you still have the option of rechargeables. However a semi-built in rechargeable would be good too.Handling noise it really good on this (but I’m comparing to a really old noisy mic). Can’t comment on range as we use it in a reasonably small room but it’s clear all over the room.

Lead Vocalist Dream

I have been a sound engineer for over 40 years. Have used every brand of microphone on the market. Shure has always been the standard. The BLX24R/SM58 model does not disappoint. Clarity, extended range and easy set up make this the perfect mic for a amateur or a pro. I highly recommend this mic and brand to all.

Replaced older system with new Shure 3 microphone system

I shopped around and found what I think is the best professional brand name system for the money I purchased 3 to replace old EV system in community clubhouse. Had to be easy to use for seniors. Installed the rack mount power and antenna distribution for easy 1 button on and off.

Shure wireless best bang for buck

I used one of these units for eight full years in a hard-working rock n roll band. It finally required replacement due to intermittent interference, but that unit had the M9 frequency option, which is not recommended a for my part of the country due to the expansion of the cell spectrum. So I purchased the same unit again, but this time with the H9 frequency option which is optimal for my area of the country. Its super solid, clear and reliable. Sounds great, no drop outs at any venues so far (fingers crossed)

Solid wireless system

Easy to set up and use, solid signal, crisp clear sound from the B58. Have used in venues of 200-300 where the performers walk the crowd and never losses signal. Not as many features as higher end systems but works great for what I use it for. #sweepstakes

This mic is awesome!

I recently bought this to have a portable set up, so I can sing through my Bose speaker. This is actually my first mic I bought and I'm quite impressed with it! I'm usually more self-conscious when I go into my falsetto or head voice, but this made the notes quite clear and sound well! I love this mic.Also, when I set this up, I didn't really read any instructions (I'm one of those people that hates reading those 😂). Through trial and error a couple of times, I got it to work and thought it was pretty self-explanatory. #sweepstakes

Wonderful system

I'm a mobile DJ and I have always used lower quality mics just based off cost. My thought was, is there really that much difference? Let me tell you there is a big difference. I will never go cheap on a mic again after using this!

one of the best mics out there

this is my go to mic for just about any handheld mic situation. always gives good crisp sound and easy to manage feedback with. the only problem with this mic is that it's always on backorder.
