With the clickless iris ring the aperture value can be altered while recording the video. The built-in dampener in each ring reduces the metallic noise if you turn them to the endpoint. Furthermore the 0.8 Mod gear pitch of these rings permits you to use various equipment such as the follow focus unit. Highlight foreground subjects in portrait shots by widening the aperture to the maximum aperture of T2. The 9-blade diaphragm creates a cinematic shallow depth of field.
