The size of the subject and the image section can be easily changed by rotating the zoom ring. The scale obtained depending on the focal length is easy to read on the lens tube. For the first time, the new material "TSC" (Thermally Stable Composite), which has only a low contractility especially at different temperatures and retains its structure, was used in the production of a lens housing. Compared to the polycarbonate normally used, TSC has a 25% higher elasticity. Due to the low thermal shrinkage, the material has a high affinity to metal parts, which supports the high-quality production of the product. TSC also makes it possible to make components such as focusing or zoom rings thinner.
