Sigma Guitars originated as an offshoot of Martin Guitars. Designed to compete with the rising number of Japanese and imported guitars in the '70s, Martin licensed reproduction of their higher value American made acoustics for production in Japan and later, in China. Discontinued back in 2007, Sigma has been revived and is back and better than ever! With a Solid Sitka Spruce top on Mahogany back and sides, this traditional 14 fret dreadnought offers a rich and detailed tone, great projection and crystal clear note definition.
