Bought the silca impero ultima frame pump for my son as a birthday gift. He is very happy with it.
Awesome pump that is more than adequate to pump MTB tires! Leave it in the car and no need to lug around a standing pump. Nozzle is great as well and seals really well. Highly recommend!
Perfect fit, function and look for a vintage road bike I have been updating. Very happy to learn that there is a source for reasonably-priced Silca frame pumps.
This is a great pump and works so well you could survive without a track pump provided you had a pressure gauge. As promised, it doesn't lose force even when it heats up so you can get your tires up to pressure even on the roadside. The rubber length adjuster (and the shaping and texture of the ends) allows you to get a secure fit in the frame so there is no danger of it falling out. I originally bought one in Tokyo for my carbon bike decided it didn't match and moved it to my steel fixie which matched much better. I brought it with me to the U.K. for another steel bike I had here but fractionally too big. At first, I ordered the wrong size (same as the old one!) as I found it difficult to measure but Sigmasport quickly sorted out the exchange without any fuss. Silca Impero frame pump was an industry standard for the period of vintage 1986 Bianchi X4 Argentin I'm currently restoring. Am truly delighted to find one at all, and especially in "Celeste".
Purchase this 4 months ago and I couldn't recommend it enough.... Absolutely brilliant, easy to use, no hassle and looks awesome on my Titanium frame.
I got the xxl model to fit my frame, but it has so much volume that I couldn't pump past about 60psi. I needed at least 90 psi for the bike it was on.
