I bought this because it says that the writing speed can be up to 80 Mbps and the minimum writing speed is 30 Mbps. I needed a fast writing card to use with my camera that is capable of producing 4K videos. Well I tested the speed of the card and the real writing speed is more between 31 and 34 Mbps, which is very FAR from the maximum 80 Mbps speed annonced. I'm very disappointed with the writing speed.

Used 16 of these on 16 GoPro 8 units during a stunt show car jump. The footage is perfect and this card kept recording every frame up until the camera was was destroyed when the car impacted a concrete barrier (with the camera in between).

I use this card in all 16 of my GoPro Hero 8 units and rely on them to record my once-in-a-lifetime shots of dirt track racing.
What more can I say? It has not failed me but then I have only had it for a short while. AS good price for one of several back-up sites.
I need a card upgrade in order to handle thousands of audio files in FLAC.This card is relatively cheap so I gave it a try.Writing is up to 50MB/sec and it doesn't take long to copy a hundred GB of albumsThe card works well with Moto G Stylus with no hiccup.Give it a try and get a pleasant surprise
The SP 256GB A2 version produces great speed results (see screenshot) which are actually in excess of my older SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB full size cards. Great value for money. Can't comment on reliability and warranty replacement process just yet though.
I bought this memory 256Gb along with three 64Gb cards. The 64Gb worked fine, but when I finally opened the 256Gb to use it. I found out it is bad. Only recognized 7.6Gb. It got very hot as well. I cannot return it. I absolutely disappointed. I am going to contact the manufacture to see if they will replace. I hope they will or I will be very mad.
I've been a Samsung EVO Select devotee for a couple of years. They work well in cameras, giving really good read speeds for downloading photos. However, cameras and read speeds aren't the only use and metric for a memory card. Come to find out, the EVO Select isn't good at all for writing lots of small files in the range of 4 to 6 MB. Think of putting lots of MP3s or MP4s (music) on the card for on the go listening. With lots of files in the 4 to 6 MB range, speed is abysmal; in the 25 MB/s range. Thousands of files will take quite a while. Here's my surprise. The Silicon Power Superior U3 A2, 256GB in my case, gobbles up those same files at around 50 MB/s. Yes, double the speed. Less expensive, just as fast on large files, and double the speed on smaller files? ... MoreI've been a Samsung EVO Select devotee for a couple of years. Sign me up!For the record, I'm using the ProGrade Digital Dual-Slot UHS-II SDXC USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C Card Reader, purchased from B&H, of course. Awesome card reader, BTW.
Fast and efficient. Does the job well.
