I bought this memory to pair with the MSI z790 Tomahawk Max Wifi board in a Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo case. I swapped slots and the same stick (now in the new slot) exhibited the same behavior.For fun, I pulled that stick out of my system and rebooted. Loaded into Windows 11 immediately. I rebooted, went into BIOS and turned on XMP again. Rebooted and loaded into Windows immediately. I then took out that working stick, put the troubled one back into the system... and got the same failure message. I couldn't load any XMP profile.I am not running this PC very hard. I game maybe a couple hours a day on it. I process some astrophotography image data sets. I ran some benchmarks when I first built it. Vast majority of the time, the PC is sitting idle. Oh, and it is extremely well cooled. I have a Kraken Elite 360 AIO for the CPU and I've got 10 Lian Li SL120v2 fans (replaced the stock Kraken fans with the Lian Li) setup as 3 intake on the bottom, 3 intake on the side, 3 exhaust out the top and 1 exhaust out the back.Very sad that this kit failed in less than 60 days from purchase.

Building a new machine after 15(!) years. If you are doing this for the first time a good tip is to try one stick of RAM. If it works, then try the other just in case it fails. In my case I got the bad stick on the first try. The second stick worked no problem.B&H returns/RMA process was not a problem, got a replacement set and I am loving it. Good timing and speed for the AMD Ryzen cpu/chipset. Set the UEFI/BIOS to use the XMP profile and away you go...
