This really is a great little saw. It seems to get ignored a bit because of the narrow profile of the Tsurugi blades, but it's a fantastic pruning saw. It won't get any medals for cutting big wood fast, but it's super light, goes virtually unnoticed on the saddle, but WILL NOT come out of its scabbard un-asked for, and cuts very cleanly.

Saw is well built and quality workmanship. The saw fits tight into the saber .
Lightweight and durable. Blade stays sharp for longer than expected and is perfect for difficult cuts in tight areas.
Excellent saw a genuine silky I have used these professionally. They rarely snap and if they do usually it's due to incorrect use. Silky have made great improvements and the sheath keeps it locked in so no more losing off your harness.
Met all my expectations, easy to use and sharp. Made quick work of some dead apple tree branches. Great holder with a belt loop attachment .
Silky saws are very good quality, you won't find a better pruning saw. There's a reason every arborist owns one!

I had one but it went missing which I hoping one of my trail helpers has just waiting to catch up to me to give it back. In the meanwhile I bought this one but with a few obstacles in the path of buying it. First in looking at your web site a 10% off coupon popped up but I wanted to see the product line first. Figuring I'd come back to it and when I did the coupon disappeared. The adding to the cart threw another curve. Had to leave the computer a minute so backing out of the order as I needed additional information on my end. Came back to it, I couldn't find this model. WHAT? I just had it! This new one is black and will be much easier to lose. Shameful. Please tell Silky to go back to yellow.Haven't used the saw yet, waiting until spring when I start working on my trails again but Silky is the best and that is what I want.
