| am really happy with Simple Cleansing Wipes for removing makeup as well as generally refreshing my skin. It really cleanses very well. I can see little bits of dirt being removed on the cloth. It is soft and gentle on my skin. The wipes are completely non-irritating. My skin is left feeling clean, moisturized, and fresh. I really like this product. They are very convenient too.

I’m giving this a 5 star rating because I’m comparing it to Neutrogena makeup removing cloths. I would probably give them a 4 star rating if I were comparing them to Koh Gen Do wipes, because, well, they are my holy grail makeup removing wipes. I know Neutrogena is a cult favorite, but I feel these wipes are superior. They don’t leave that feeling behind that makes you wonder just how clean your face is if you don’t have time to wash it properly. Neutrogena wipes can break some skin types out, because of the residue they leave behind. Don’t get me wrong, they’ll take your makeup off, but they’ll also leave a slippery-attract-dirt, feel on your face, that dries down to a drying feeling. They also contain PEG 4 and PEG 6. Tsk. Tsk. Simple Kind To Skin wipes get the job done without all of that, and the ingredients are much better for you. Your face doesn’t feel stripped after using them. Ulta often has a sale on these wipes, where you can get them cheaper than Neutrogena wipes. I’ve reached a phase in my life, after spending A LOT of money on skincare and makeup products, where I’m now looking at exactly what those dollars are being spent on – I’ve become an avid ingredient watcher, and hope others start doing the same in order for the government to stop allowing cancer causing ingredients in products that do many of us use as often as twice a day. On that note, I highly recommend over Neutrogena.

are gentle to the skin and easily lifts away grease, impurities and make-up (including waterproof eye make up). Within my typical skincare routine I use a micellar water and cleansing balm, however, these are great on the go and I always keep a pack in my gym bag for after a workout. I really like that the wipes do not dry out the skin or have that gritty feeling like some wipes do. They contain ingredients such as Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E to promote a youthful appearance. They are unscented and do not contain artificial perfumes or harsh chemicals – perfect even for sensitive skin. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a gentle cleansing wipe that removes impurities and make up.

I received this as a sample to try to preface this post. I have not tried this brand before although I have heard of it and seen it in stores. These are pretty generic cleansing wipes I will say and in comparison to other brands nothing particularly special about them overall. I will say though that they are not very effective in removing stubborn make up, especially waterproof products. The quantity per package is similar to other brands, although the cost is quite expensive. Overall I found them to be similar to other products, with an added cost. Try them and compare for yourself.
I received these products for free from Influenster and Simple in exchange for my honest review. I was excited to receive a makeup wipe because it had just run out! And friends, the wipes are eco-friendly! They are soft, non-fragrant, and standard in size. Its stretchy if you tug on it a bit and it doesn’t tear. The resealable package actually reseals, which is a plus. The package advertised the removal of waterproof mascara, which is pretty tough, but it only did ok with the removal of my standard mascara. It got majority of it but the next morning I still had a slight raccoon shadow under my bottom lash line. I also used them in the evening of a non-makeup day before my night skincare routine and my face felt really clean and refreshed after use. The wipes removed the day’s dirt like a champ and I trusted it’s simplistic ingredients on my sensitive, but oily skin. Overall, I’ve had other products from Simple and they’ve all worked well. I’m going to stick beside them 💚 #Simplecompostable #Compostablewipes @simpleskinus
I used to love these, but now I don’t use them anymore because the last few I bought either were dried out or burned the heck out of my face. I have acne prone skin and loved that these didn’t irritate my skin or break me out. Now I don’t buy them anymore and opt for the large bottle of just the liquid and make my own wipes. I buy the intrinsics silken wipes and soak them. I can make SO many wipes this way. Also these wipes have practically doubled in price since Nov 2021, so yea.
Simple used to be my go-to for quality facial wipes, but they've changed these so much, it's nothing but a waste of money. Pre-pandemic, the wipes were large and thick, almost like a cloth, but every package I've bought post-2020 has wiles that are tiny and thin. It's like trying take off makeup with a cheap paper towel. I found an old package in the back of my linen closet and compared it to the "new and improved" wipe, and you can clearly see in the photo how much smaller it is (top wipe is new version, bottom is old version). For the money Target is charging for this, you'd be better off just buying some nice bamboo washcloths and reusing them, which is what I plan to do once I've used my current pack up. Super disappointing, and it really discourages me from ... MoreSimple used to be my go-to for quality facial wipes, but they've changed these so much, it's nothing but a waste of money. As other people say in the review, it’s not the same as before. I used to take off my water proof mascara with the wipe without any problem because the wipe was smoother and thicker. Now not only the wipe seems smaller and thinner but also materials is too rough (too dry maybe??) to take off my water proof mascara anymore. I can’t rub too hard on my eyelashes so it’s useless. It takes off face make up though but again I feel it’s rougher on a skin than before.
These are not the same simple wipes I’ve been using and loving for years.. I know they changed the packaging, but the inside is different too. The wipes are harsh, the material drags across the skin. They smell sour, and my skin burns and itches after using! I just bought two new packs, and I will be returning both! Such a bummer, they were the only wipes that didn’t irritate my skin. Change them back, Simple! These suck!!!
I stopped wearing mascara for a while, for the simple fact that I HATED scrubbing it off my face at the end of the day. The idea of rubbing my eyes so much makes me actually CRINGE because I am FANATICAL about my skincare routine, wrinkles, and aging prevention. I have SUPER sensitive skin and always have, so when I first saw the name 'Simple', it immediately caught my attention. These makeup wipes don't burn, don't have any scent to them (I hate when things smell florally, I don't need scents in my face products.) and they do a great job at getting everything off. I start with my eyes and move to my face. Then I follow it up with the Simple Micellar Water on a cotton pad to get anything left behind, and lastly, whatever toner I'm using that week. About once a week I take their face wash and use it with my Clarisonic to exfoliate. This brand is EVERYTHING. I love it so much. Any time anyone asks about makeup removers or mentions having sensitive skin, I immediately talk about this because I struggled for so long to find something that worked for my incredibly sensitive skin. The Simple wipes in the white pack are also amazing. I alternate between which ones I use. I would 100% recommend this to anyone, especially anyone with sensitive skin.
