When i stopped taking birthcontrol my skin went through a crazy phase, i got acne in the first 4 months that cleared up by itself but my skin remained oily. I know some people dont like the parrafinium liquidum in it but i think it is in there for locking in the goodness you apply before the moisturizer and the ingredients in the moisturizer itself. Although this product doesnt claim to mattify the skin it does a really good job tough, after a long day at work my forehead is a bit dewy and the rest of my face is normal - happy me ☺ The product doesnt break me out so that is a bonus 🎉 Overall this product is simple as the brand its name but it does a good job at keeping oily skin under control without drying it out, a added bonus is that is doesnt contain fragrance, although i find it smelling a bit like play-doh, the price (6€) is very cheap in my opinion. I suffer with very dry skin on my face. It can become very severe, to the point I am embarrassed to go out. I've tried many creams and lotions over the last 3 years and this is the only one that has sorted the issue out. I use it morning and night every day. I use the simple face wash in the morning, I then use cleanser and toner before using the moisturiser. I can honestly say my skin has never looked this good and my dryness has disappeared. I cannot recommend this moisturiser enough or the other products in the Simple range.

Affordable Moisturiser

I've used this moisturiser for quite a few months and was very pleased with it. I used this one in the morning and the rich moisturiser at night. It's not greasy or heavy and absorbs into the skin swiftly, leaving it soft and moisturised. The ingredients are good, especially for sensitive skin as it has no fragrance. It is one of the better cheaper moisturisers as it is affordable and effective, leaving the skin hydrated. Simple is a good brand in general with affordable products which aren't tested on animals. Overall it's a staple product and a good basic in anyone's routine.

Best moisturiser

I use this together with the Cerave cleanser, I have combination to oily skin and this moisturiser gives my skin the right amount of moisturise without leaving it feeling oily. It absorbs quickly and is has the perfect amount of hydration. Recommend, this is the only one I use. PS. Definitely don't skip moisturiser even if you have oily skin it's a very important step, if your skin gets the moisture it won't produce the excess oils that cause your skin to be oily! <3

Brilliant for combination skin.

In recent years I seemed to have delayed teenage spot (I’m now in my 30s) and it’s been horrendous to be honest. I didn’t realise how lucky I was to have perfect skin growing up. I’m also a qualified makeup artist and have spent years trying some of the most expensive high street products with absolutely no luck. So as I was approaching my wedding renewal I was desperate for a skin care routine that was affordable and just prayed it would work. Simple was the one. My skin currently is absolutely flawless to the point I’m not even wearing makeup! My skin looks glowing but not in the slightest bit greasy! This moisturiser is everything I needed for my combination skin! I highly recommend it.

So "Simple" this moisterizer is. The ingredients are clearly labelled. It is cruetly free not just "Vegan" (Which does not mean cruelty free), and it's a perfect moisterizer. I think naturally we feel if we spend a bit more to get a more glam product it will work better. "Simple" Is setting an amazing example of how other products should follow. Unilever also owns Dove who are making sure they label there products "Fragrance Free" and this is so Important! The ingredient "Fragrance" also known as "Parfum" is not just one ingredient it's a concoction of 100's of other mystery ingredients which are hormone disruptors. Simply Great

Light fluid, soaks in quickly, not sticky or oily, can use near eyes & doesn't irritate. Basic staple I've used for more years than I care to recall. Highly recommend. Inexpensive yet excellent. {Wish manufacturer would seal the box - a spot of glue as on toothpaste boxes would stop the product sliding out of the box during online deliveries & prevent customers opening boxes & handling product in-store (especially annoying in these "covid" days).}

The best moisturiser

I used simple in my teens but when my skin started getting acne I switched things up and tried different products. While my acne was cleared with the help of a doctor I tried endless moisturisers from well known brands for my combination skin, like La Roche Posay, Eucerin, Cerave, Vichy etc.. Not only did these moisturisers do nothing that this simple one couldn’t do, I got rashes and more breakouts from them. I finally decided to go back to what worked for me from the beginning and that’s this moisturiser. It’s perfect, light and moisturising and gentle on my clearly very reactive skin. Also the price is great! I shouldn’t have bothered trying to find something better, because there isn’t anything better.

Too simple it causes severe itritation to my skin

Ive been looking for a while for a skin cream that would suit my combination acne/sensitive/dry skin. I always look for products that are non-comedogenic and simple fits that very well. I use a range of other simple produces with no issue however twice this cream has caused my skin severe irritation/breakouts. I can only guess that its so lightweight that its not moisturising my dehydrated skin enough. Sadly this simple product is a no from me but i do like other products from the Simple skincare range and find they are good value.
