Beware real sweet basil users... maybe the bottles contents vary but the one I received was NOT the variety 'sweet' basil. It says sweet basil in the description but not on the bottle. Strong licorice aroma, most likely THAI basil (maaaaybe a MIX but it's strong licorice scent), not lovely, delicious real sweet basil. Not bad quality, just inaccurate description and so disappointed wasn't delicious sweet basil....I am NOT a fan of thai basil.

We frequently use basil for Italian dishes such as spaghetti and focaccia bread. It add a nice flavor to these dishes making them taste very good. This is a great quality basil especially if you don't have fresh basil around. I appreciate the glass packaging as well. The size of the spice jar is perfect as spices lose freshness, it's better to buy new ones as you use them up.

The best part is that the aroma of the seasoning is well kept even after long storage period. Maybe their glass packaging helps the storage. I like the quality. They are organic, but not that costly. I almost always use this with my tomato-based recipes, and they taste great.

sometimes you just have to reach your pocket deeper to get quality products and this is one of them. The aroma would burst out as soon as you open the lid and it's still like that having opened it for more than a month. I would definitely recommend this, great product
You can't really go wrong with basil. It's an ingredient that makes every savory recipe taste better. I use it on eggs when I want to be fancy. It's great for any diet, and the packaging makes it easy to use and store. I always trust in the quality of this brand.
For the best, purest spices, you really can't go wrong with Simply Organic and this basil was no different. I have yet to be disappointed by this brand. I love that the lid pops off easily and the mouth of the bottle is wide enough to stick a small measuring spoon in there, and I also prefer that the bottle is glass. Plus the price is great for organic herbs.
Very fragrant basil herbs. I use it when cooking almost every dishes, meat or pasta, and there's still lots of it left after a few weeks. The packaging is simply one of the best. Love the jar and I'm already planning to reuse it. Will definitely repurchase.
