Great steam iron press. Perfect for bed sheets, as well as clothing. So easy to set up and use. Speeds up the process of ironing and not only that the finished result is truly amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have used this pressed a handful of times. It does a great job but I am returning it today because it has an alarm(beeping sound) that starts going off after about 10 seconds. When I use it to press my husband's jeans it takes a lot longer than 10 seconds, since the fabric is thicker. I had a singer pressed for about 20 years that I used nearly every day. I never had a problem with it until it just died on me! I'm sure this presser is a good one but I will be returning it. I can't live with that constant beeping.

I had a Singer steam presser for years. It has now passed. I decided to purchase a new one and I have to say, the new model has been improved and I'm even happier that before. It heats up quickly, it's lightweight but not too light, the burst of steam is powerful and it has an auto shutoff feature which comes in handy when I space out. Be very careful though, because you can seriously burn yourself. After a particularly nasty burn I bought myself a very long pair of ballgown style satin gloves that go all the way to my arms, cut the finger tips off and voila, no more burns!

Easy to use press which reduces your ironing time.
13 November 2022

It does reduce ironing time and it is relatively easy to use. It presses thick materials like denim very well and also presses cotton and linen well. It does need some improvements though. The pressing area should be larger, this would reduce the amount of presses needed to iron an item and also less time in rearranging clothing to get all of the areas pressed. It does not do a very good job on the shoulders and top back section of shirts even with the little cushion supplied it is awkward and takes a lot of fiddling. I do like the steam option in the press but I find that a water spray is just as good. I would like the lid of the press to raise higher and preferably more vertical off the ironing surface as I often burn the top of my hand as I am arranging the item ... MoreIt does reduce ironing time and it is relatively easy to use. I didn't buy the additional stand as I read some poor reviews, so I just use my existing ironing board to put it on which works quite well. Overall it is a good press but it would be an outstanding press with the above improvements.

Ironing press

Very easy to use with great results. My husband even uses it now after I broke both my shoulders and was out of action for 10 weeks. Much easier than using an iron.

Love this press!
12 June 2019

Just purchased this steam press. Have used it about three times and so far I love it. I am using it mainly for fusing interfacing to cotton fabric. So much easier and quicker than doing it with a hand held iron. And it does an excellent job of adhering the interfacing evenly. I don't find any areas of the interfacing that is not adhered.

I what about replacement covers and pads? Why sell this if A simple replacement pad can not be found? Home Depot sells this despite parts being not available.

Singer Steam Press
11 June 2016

This is pricey but my husband wanted it because he's tried of taking all his shirts to the cleaners to get pressed. He figures he's saving at least $2 with every shirt he presses. He plops himself in front of the TV with this steam press on a table and gets very good results. Each shirt takes him no more than 5 minutes to iron. Sometimes it can press through to wrinkle the other side of sleeves, but it's not a major problem. Overall, it was a good purchase.

So far, so good!
30 December 2015

This is the first steam press we've ever owned. We purchased it for my husband's work clothes which are a thick denim material. This press does a good job as far as I can tell. I'm still getting the hang of it. There are some parts of his shirts that are difficult to get crisp and I'm having to get creative with the pressing cushion that comes with it in order to get the wrinkles out at the shoulders. The only down-side that I can see is that the book recommends starting at the back and pulling the fabrick toward you. Large or thick material need more space than what is allowed back there in order to do it this way. If that space was larger I would have rated this with 5 stars.

So happy with this purchase!

I use cotton and linen napkins very regularly in my home. I have a heavy-duty, high-quality Rowenta steam iron, but I still wasn't getting the results I was looking for. I am lucky enough to live near the Meile Experience Center where I could witness first hand how beautifully the Miele rotary ironer operates, but we live in the city and just don't have space for such a large apparatus. After some investigation, I found this Singer Magic Steam Press. It had so many 5 star reviews; I gave it a try and am so happy with the results. My napkins are almost as beautiful as with the rotary ironer and at 10% of the price (and size!). After some experimentation, I learned that pressing them while damp - without putting them in the dryer at all - produces the best result. My husband thought this was a crazy purchase at first, but loves how beautiful the table looks, and will use it for his pocket squares. It is also lighter than I originally thought, and not difficult to carry and store with the locking handle.
