Sis Go Electrolyte Sports Fuel - Orange - 500g
The SiS Go Electrolyte sports drink is a fast carbohydrate source for use during exercise. One 500 ml bottle of SiS Go Electrolyte contains 36 grams of carbohydrates and a mix of essential electrolytes (minerals). The unique SiS Go Electrolyte formula helps to replenish your carbohydrate reserves and to prevent performance reduction caused by fluid loss. The SiS Go Electrolyte sports drink contains a mix of energy sources and electrolytes. This formula improves moisture absorption by the body, your performance during exercise, and prevents cramp during and after the effort. The body absorbs the well-balanced mix of carbohydrates (36 grams per 500 ml; a 6% solution) rapidly. The added electrolytes support optimal moisture absorption before and during exercise. Depletion of the carbohydrate reserves and fluid loss are two common causes of performance reduction in endurance sports. A mistake commonly made by (endurance) athletes is to consume too many or too few carbohydrates. An unbalanced carbohydrate intake may cause gastrointestinal problems or fatigue. Using SiS Go Electrolyte to replenish your carbohydrate reserves before and during exercise can increase your sports performance.

I used most of one canister of this stuff (the orange flavor). For years I’ve used Gu Roctane Ultraendurance drink, but I use SIS for gels and got this shipped to me by mistake, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I’ve noticed a couple of headaches, but didn’t make a connection to this drink until I just noticed that it’s got Aspartame in it!! Why the ef would a sports nutrition company use one of the most well known awful artificial sweeteners in the world???? It makes me question SIS entirely. Headaches, cancer, heart issues, etc. are all known side effects of aspartame. I’m just blown away that they would include this ingredient.

I'm 21 and I train around 20 hours a week. I have honestly really enjoyed these SIS electrolyte drink mixes. I've had the orange one aswell and they always taste great and make me feel energised. Would recommend if your not taking carbohydrates whilst exercising. It's a game changer and I have yet to get sick of the taste despite having it every day for months

The taste will definitely have you flashing back to the dairy bought blackcurrent lollies of old, my wife disliked the tasted but I wasn't bothered by it. The taste starts off vague but becomes stronger the more you drink of it. As for how it performs, I don't have any complaints. I drank it after training runs (21 km) and didn't experience any muscle cramps or spasms after wards, so good electrolyte replacement. Good valve for money.

I have used the GO mix in raspberry for years and decided to switch up the flavor and try lemon lime, since I usually love lemon lime flavors. It has a different aftertaste than the raspberry which is fine, but about 2 hours into the ride, it started tasting like medicine which is not what you want when you are hurting on the bike. I would not recommend the lemon lime flavor for this reason, as I had to keep chasing it with water, but the product gives me no gut issues, so for that reason I will push through and use the rest.
I love the flavors and the perfect mix of carbs and electrolytes. For me this is easy drinking, never with the acidy or overly syrupy feeling in the mouth that other sports drinks can give. All of the SIS products that I use incl the gels and recovery have that benefit - I think they Ph balance in some way to make the carbs easy to take. On a long endurance event that is essential.
The lemon lime flavor tastes good but is pretty sweet. I almost wish they didn't put the artificial sweetener in there since there's already plenty of fructose to sweeten it. The powder is also pretty sticky which makes it harder to get into the top of smaller bottles than other brands I've tried.Overall I like it, but it's not so good that I'll buy it every time I need more drink mix.
Have used SIS GO Electrolyte for two years and this will make it my 3rd summer. I look forward to pulling up my bottle to grab another sip of this vs. when I ride with just water I tend to skip sips. Just completed another 100 mile solo ride last Saturday and this was again in by bottles! Never any gut issues using it at 7am after breakfast or starting rides after lunch. Supplement with SIS gels on rides over 2 hours.
This stuff is great because it includes the electrolytes in with carbs to fuel my rides. So there is no other mixing I have to do with multiple products and less chance of cramping up. I have had no gastro problems with this mix either and I consume between 80 and 100 g per hour. It is a bit on the sweet tasting side but not so bad to make you sick when pushing up hill!
On my first test I was surprised as to how sweet it was. Also had a funny taste and aftertaste to it. I looked at the ingredients after that ride and low and behold it has aspartame in it. Why in the world would a sports drink like this have aspartame in it? That explains the funny taste, reminiscent of diet soda.
Your website listing show "Nutrition Facts" for this product. I purchased the product and the back shows "Supplement Facts". Your website listing is incorrect. This is also true for the SIS Go Electrolyte Drink Mix. The Feed is misleading customers with these incorrect listings. There is a big difference in these two labels.
