I have received this shampoo as a sample with my order and I really quite liked it. It does give a feeling of deep cleansing on your hair after you use it so you might need a lot of conditioner to detangle it after. I have fine curly hair short hair and this was not a problem for me. I used a small amount of my olaplex conditioner and it was plenty enough to detangle my hair. If you have long hair it might be more tangled after using this shampoo but it does leave a nice deep cleansing feel after using it. I loved it. Having said that i would not pay the full price. I would definetly order as as sample again tho.

I have fine, color-treated hair that is slightly dry. YMMV. It tangled my hair so badly I couldn't get it to rinse all the way out. After lightly drying my hair with a Dyson, it was a frizzy, dried out mess. Like an idiot I bought the Sisley cotton conditioner thinking that would help. Nope, just more product I couldn't get out of my hair. I'd really like that $170 back but I threw away the packaging.My 2 cents - try a little bit and keep the packaging in case you need to return it. Turn the bottle upside down when dispensing or half the bottle will go down the drain. Poor design, bad product.

I received a sample of this and as my hair is very fine, hi lighted and sun damaged I thought I’d give it a try.I only needed a 10p coin size and it lathered up really well. A refreshing fragrance and the after effect was amazing. My hair felt super clean and free from any product used to give volume. Incredibly soft and my hi lights looked shinier and brighter. I ordered the product straight away. Expensive yes but you only need a small amount to get a great result. So it really lasts.

This shampoo has a nice natural scent. It lathers easily and feels like it gives hair a deep cleanse. It’s probably the least drying purifying shampoo I have used however it’s still too drying for my hair but it’s super dry currently even some hydrating shampoos are not hydrating enough. It’s lightweight and I think will help improve hairs condition over time. I use it when I have extra product build up in my hair and apply a more hydrating shampoo after. If you normally find detoxing shampoos drying it’s definitely worth trying a sample as the full size is so expensive but probably worth it, if it suits your hair type.
I like to use this shampoo with some of my favourites from the Brand. Once a week I would apply the pre-shampoo purifying mask. Complimentary to the shampoo this creamy pre-shampoo absorbs and eliminates pollution and impurities from the scalp and hair. I loved the fact I could continue my occupations during the 10-minute setting time and recommend doing it once or twice weekly. With this duo I got an immediate sensation of freshness and soothing, it is pure bliss! If you suffer from any kind of irritation then this is a dream.
I first got a sample and loved it so much. Got the full size during the sale. It does wonders to my hair. I have a greasy scalp especially during winter and in the city with the pollution and all. And I also have a very sensitive skin and scalp, I have to be very careful of what I use. And this shampoo really makes my hair look beautiful and my scalp feel good. Took a star off for the price because come on, it is so pricey even on sale. I will alternate it with other shampoos and enjoy it as a real treat. Also I really love the smell.
I reveived a sample of the Sisley HAIR RITUEL GENTLE PURIFYING SHAMPOO. Now Sisiley is overall a more high end brand. I know some off the skincare line and what I have used was beautiful. This shampoo is also very nice. But with a sample you cannot attest to its longterm effects. So even though I enjoyed my latest shampoo session, I will probably not be purchasing this just because off its hefty price tag. Therefor I cannot recommend.
I had a decent size sample of this shampoo to try with recent order.Whilst I have loved everything I have previously tried in this brand I didn’t like this shampoo. Same lovely smell as with other Sisley hair products but that was the only good thing . Shampoo hardly lathers so was difficult to evenly distribute in my thick hair even when more water added didn’t seem to do anything. Once washed off hair felt very dry and tangled and was crying out for a deep conditioner, My scalp also felt really dry after use so I wouldn’t buy the full size at any price , Sorry Sisley not for me at all .
I have fine shoulder length hair which is quite flat and I always struggle to get some sort of volume in it.My first Sisley hair product was the volumising spray which did nothing at all (see separate review) but I then tried the shampoo which is really good. I was previously using Augustinus Bader shampoo which I liked but didn't really improve volume/body whereas this shampoo really does. Even when air dried my hair definitely has more movement and bounce and is very shiny. The shampoo has a definite Sisley smell which I find pleasant. The one downside is the exorbitant price, I'm not sure why it is so ridiculously expensive but I will probably repurchase because it's one of the best hair care products I've tried.
Since the first time I used it until now 2 months later I am very impressed with how this shampoo makes my hair look fuller and healthier. I use about a quarter size dab and use the pads of my fingers to work it in and it lathers ok not great but I leave the lather on my hair for just a couple minutes before rinsing out. Before I could see my scalp thru my dry hair, after using this product I can see very little scalp with dry hair, takes all the balding spots out including the top and crown of my head. Great product! I also take a lot of biotine vitamins too!
