Only 3 stars because one egg does not really fill it as shown in the picture. (I do use large eggs.) This resulted in the egg being quite flat. I also found I overcooked the yolk to get the white firm. Is it good at anything? Well if you want a quick medium to hard egg this is super fast and does not cause much mess. If I'm in a hurry I will use it. If not I'll dry fry in a frying pan with a glass lid and a little water. I would therefore recommend for quick eggs. It is not expensive and, apart from being a bit too large, is well made.

Good value item which is well made. Takes a bit of practice getting the microwave timings correct. Wasn't sure what the instructions meant by a "a splash of water" needed, but my wife explained that a quick flick of slightly dripping wet fingers over the egg would suffice. Handy piece of kit. Must be good because I'm going to order a second!

I have purchased several of the Sistema Microwave containers, and I can say I have not been disappointed, this one is no exception, either making a poached egg, scrambled or omelette, its simple, quick and the best bit, cleans easily. just read the instructions, works well every time, I made sure my daughter had one to take to Uni. Great little product.

I've taken to cracking eggs and spices and placing them in a zip lock sandwich bag. The sandwich bag fits perfectly in the microwave holder for easy transport. I've had to mess around with timings due to a high powered microwave but the eggs come out perfect each time
I have been microwaving my eggs for the past couple of years....so easy a must system. BUT, last week my dog ate our Microwave egg cooker so I purchased the Sistema 1117. This item is much heavier duty then our other and the locking/vented top is superior. This system is very nice. The only problem, or improvement I would like, are the two dog ears for handling. Bigger dog would be much handier. Don't let this detour you, it is a very nice and heavy duty item for it's purpose.
This little device is extremely useful. It poaches eggs to perfection in just 30 seconds. Have cooked two eggs at once and needed to extend cooking time to 60 seconds. Its also very easy to clean, unlike some other poachers. I have bought a second one so other family members can also enjoy a Cooked breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.
I am able to make an omlet very quickly with added ingredients. A very quick dinner or breakfast. I have not tried pouching an egg yet but don't anticipate anything else but good results. Vry reasonable price for a very good product.
I already have 2 of these, 1 at home and 1 at work. Durring the past few months, I've ordered more for friends and family. We all love them. Versatile, simple and easy to wash, no more scrambled eggs stuck to pans or poached eggs exploding in the microwave!
Very good product cooks eggs well maybe abit longer to whats stated on the packet depending on your microwave . The plastic container is a good quality and should last a while . Purchased this because of the five star rating and I wasnt disappointed .
Brilliant! Im on a high protein diet and was getting sick of salads! This is brilliant, 2 eggs, bit of ham, cheese or anything 2 mins in the micro (its not 45 seconds, unless you like snotty egg!) and done. Also keeps me full for hours. Would definately recommend.
