Sistema Microwave Easy Eggs, Red

Really great product for making fresh omlettes on the run. Hubby takes his into work with the fresh ingredients (eg. diced bacon, capsicum, onion, spinach, cheese) in the container with 2 whole unbroken eggs and makes himself breakfast when he is ready.

For such a simple idea this is an absolutely genius product. I cannot believe it’s taken me so long to discover…every household should have one!! You can pick them up for pennies, but save so much time and hassle when it comes to cooking eggs! I use it to make my copycat McMuffins at home, a few short blasts in the microwave and the job is done!!

Brilliant

We've done poached eggs, omelette and scrambled in this and It's great. The poached eggs were trial and error getting the right amount of water but, the others were straight forward and not had any bad or failed ones really.

Does not cook fried eggs

I was so excited to make fried eggs in this. I followed the instructions to the letter. I wasted several eggs and it still didnt successfully cook any of them. The outside part and Yolk were well cooked but the bit of egg around the yolk was still complete liquid - it wasnt even white. Waste of my money.

Great

It works great, my husband in visually impaired and not able to cook on stove without over or under cooking eggs. Using the Microwave cooker gives him Independance and its easy with no mess or fuss

It makes it really easy to make eggs when on time crunch and little mess. Can make different varieties. If not down the first time can just add minutes.

Poaches an egg beautifully

Two tablespoons of water in the bottom of the wee egg cooker, a tiny pierce of the yolk, clip and cook. My microwave is powerful, so I cook one egg for 50 seconds, rest it unopened for a bit, drain and serve. That's a perfect poached egg for me. I tried cooking two eggs in one cooker but that didn't work out so well, not for poaching, anyway. That would work for an omelette or scrambled eggs, though, although I've yet to try that. Use a slotted spoon to drain the egg the way you would with a saucepan poached egg. The little cooker is non stick and cleans super easily. When scrambling or making an omelette don't forget to add some milk, cream or water or your egg might stick a little. Love it so much I'm going back for more.

Sistema rebbish 4 egg poacher

Poor design. Egg is cooked through the grills so you require a spoon to cut the egg free from above. This then leaves a layer of cooked egg glued to the under side of the egg holder. The egg holder worked well at draining the eggs. Did try it without the egg holder. Problem was then what to get the eggs out with and drain them. Not the sellers fault but I now know why they sold it.
