Skechers - Go Walk Joy Paradise Women's Walking Shoes - Black - 6

I continually buy from this firm and never been let down. The upper part ofGO walk Joy expands as you walk so toes never get sore. I have many colours of this product. Recommended especially if you have tender feet.

ALL BLACK AND A GREAT WALKING SHOE

I had been looking for a walking shoe that was all black, including the sole, and came across the good reviews for this shoe. It does not disappoint! I took them from the box, added a small arch support, because I have flat feet, and proceeded to wear them for 12 hours the first day. They were so comfortable that I actually forgot I had shoes on. The knit upper is super soft, and the insole is cushiony. There is a waffle or basket weave bottom that I wasn't sure about, but it offered nice cushioning, too. I like the black on black knit style for wearing with everything including capris, skirts, or even a possible summer dress when a lot of walking is involved. These were very reasonably priced, too. Great fit and comfort!

I wear only Skechers. To me, they set the standard for comfort. I wear them for all day wear and exercise too. The Skechers lace up models in the GoWalk and GoRun line with the Goga Mat or Goga Max soles can be worn for just about any activity. If you are a runner, then you need to do more research. I understand there are some GoRun models that are decent running shoes. This particular Skechers model is a steal at the sale price. The all black ones I bought won't attract attention even if I wear in a professional setting. They are true to size so need to size up in my case. I have a narrow foot and they fit well, so wide foot individuals might need a Wide width. I strongly recommend the Goga Mat over the Memory Foam. It may be a matter of personal taste however.

I like them

I wear these for work since I'm standing and walking all day. They are pretty comfy, and although not even the best pair of shoes can fix the pain in my feet, it is nice to walk on something so squishy. I have a couple of issues though - first is that the left shoe feels a bit tight around the toes because I have a bone spur sticking out (but if i get the wide size for just the left, it'll be too big at the heel). Second issue is that the right shoe is... well I'm not sure, but if I lace it up, it rubs so bad on the back of my heel, so I have to leave that one unlaced. I hope that breaking them in will help with that issue. I also wish they were waterproof, but I guess that would interfere with breatheability. Overall, good shoe, I just have weird feet.

💯 percent Love my Skechers, I will not wear any other, walking shoes. Feel extremely uncomfortable. Like walking almost like on a cloud. Brandhouse responded and posted my shoes , very quickly. Will buy from them again.

Ok but not the best

I bought these to replace an older pair of Sketchers. They are comfortable, seem to be a wee nit longer in size, but they are cold to wear as the loose weave fabric doesn’t have an inner lininglike my old pair. I guess they would be ok in summer, but wouldn’t buy another pair as they are too cold to wear in winter.

Pleasantly Surprised

I was skeptical after trying a pair of skechers sneakers on at a dept store. I wanted stability, support, comfort & durablity in a good walking shoe. I walk everyday & the sneakers I wear now seemed fine at time of purchase. They are RBK hard soled leather. Researched Skechers.com & found the Go Walk Joy-Paradise sneakers. Sounded really good & the price was also. So I took the leap & was pleasantly surprised. I tried them on when received & they felt light as a feather. I thought there is no way they would be good for walking on all types of surfaces. I am thrilled to say they are everything I was looking for in a sneaker. I cannot say anything about durablility yet since I have had them for a short time. That is why I gave them only 4 stars. My old sneakers feel very heavy on legs & loud on surfaces now compared to these. I would highly suggest the purchase of these excellent sneakers. I do hope they are durable & hold up for awhile. I just had to throw away a pair of womens work/hiking boots I purchased 13 yrs ago. Just replaced them with same Skechers boots. The female customer service person went over & above to find the same ones for me. Very happy with Skechers. Do your own research & find the sneakers for your lifestyle.

Roomy, light and comfy

I needed some runaround trainers and these are perfect! I also have to wear orthotic insoles for a few months and these have plenty of room for them. Roomy around the toes too without the shoe feeling loose. Light and airy too.

These are very comfortable walking shoes!

These walkers are very comfortable for outdoor and indoor walking/power walking. I need a wide width, and most Skechers wide width shoes fit very well, including these! There was no break in period, which was beneficial! (If a shoe needs to be "broken in", then to me it's really not a good fit!) It has a light mesh upper, which makes this shoe much cooler in the spring/summer months! I do notice when I walk on the outdoor cement, asphalt, the soles tend to show a lot more wear and tear because it is a softer sole than heavier shoes. But I'm fine with that because of the comfort level. IF it wears out, I'll simply purchase a new pair!

White looks ugly

I ordered these in white because I wanted an all-white pair of shoes. But what i received were bright white shoes with yellowish white soles, which look really ugly. The colors are not just a little off. They're way off and just too ugly to look at. Nothing like the picture at all! Why can't they make the soles the same shade of white as the rest of the shoes? I purchased a black pair with white soles from Skechers in the past, and those soles are a nice bright white. So why not do the same for this one? The shoes are very comfortable otherwise so it's too bad that I have to return them.
