Skechers Slip-Ins: Ultra Flex 3.0 - Brilliant Shoes in Black 5

I bought these, honestly, because they were the least “old lady” looking of the slip in styles. I previously purchased a slip in style from another brand (that I love) but needed a new pair and thought I’d give Skechers a try. I buy slip ins because I have early onset joint issues and need a hands free option for my sneakers. The first thing I’ll say is, like the other brand I bought from, these are completely hands free and you can literally just step into them. Secondly, these shoes are so freaking comfortable!! My feet tend to swell when I have a flare up, and when I first got these I was worried they’d be too tight during that time but they’re not!! Secondly, they’re so freaking comfortable they actually make my joints feel better by wearing them than if I was barefoot! I’ve been wearing them around my house just because of the relief I’ve felt in my joints. Also, they look like normal laceless sneakers, and not at all matronly in person, in my opinion (which was a primary concern of mine). Another concern I had was heel/arch pressure, since too much exasperates my joint issues, and there isn’t too much at all! If you’re someone that unfortunately suffers from arthritis/fibromyalgia/hypermobile joints/post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome/etc. but still wants a stylish sneaker, I 100% recommend these!!

These sneakers really live up to their claim as slip-ins which is a very convenient feature. They are very easy to put on, very comfortable and the look of the shoe is very attractive. On the other hand, I did not find them to be very supportive when it came to walking long distances. After about a mile into my walk, I did not experience the "bounce" in the step. Overall, the slip-in feature is great, its a very attractive shoe, and I would definitely purchase another pair.

They're nice... I bought a pair like 3 years and.. Wore them out after a year and wanted a new pair. This aren't as bouncy, the cushion feels more firm.. Bummer because they were so great I could walk around disneyland all day for example, and have zero pain... The new ones, my feet got sore still. I wore birth for the first time at the park to be fair. Oh well... Off to find something else. The Puma Softride Sophia Eco Sneaker is the exact same as the first pair I was talking about. Hopefully they last!
