I was gifted this product a couple of weeks ago for my honest review and this is absolutely a HOLY GRAIL skin food for dry skin sufferers. I suffer from dry skin all year round, in addition to psoriasis and have spent hundreds of dollars over the years trying to find skin care that delivers lasting moisturisation. Wileda skin food is the first product that has DELIVERED! I was pleasantly surprised by the subtle fragrance of orange, lavender and vanilla that did not irritate my skin or eyes. I purchased this on a recent trip to Switzerland after reading about it as a cult classic. It is one of the most thick and hydrating moisturizers I’ve ever tried. I have oily skin but the cold weather in Switzerland was drying me out and making my skin very sensitive to the wind and cold. I gave this a try and it helped bring back so much moisture into my skin when the weather conditions were rough. The texture is almost like a heavy ointment and has a subtle fragrance to it. It does take some time to absorb into the skin so I tend to use it at night or I’ll use it on my cheekbones as a highlighter in the daytime because of its dewy finish. If I could give a product a 10/10 I would give this a 20/10!!! This product is amazing! I have combination skin so I cant use it in my t-zone but I can use it on my cheeks, nose and eyes. Let me tell you this product soaks in and leaves your skin unbelievable hydrated and smooth. I always thought I had fo exfoliate to get rid of dry skin so my makeup could go on smooth and not patchy but with this product I haven't had to exfoliate once to have smooth and unpatchy skin!! Amazing for eczema and sensitive skin

I have suffered with eczema all my life. For the past 18 months, I have been suffering really badly with eczema of the eyelids (Something I've never had before) - All my usual moisturizers now cause a flare, I had tried numerous sensitive eye creams, that all burn and make the flare worse, I have also tried the Kheils avocado eye cream, but even that has a slight burn to my eyes. The only thing I was able to use was Vaseline, that didn't cause a further reaction. Which isn't ideal, as it takes forever to soak in. I tried this after reading the reviews and got the smaller tube as I have wasted so much money on expensive so called "sensitive" creams. But year anyone suffering with really dry/sensitive/eczema prone skin. TRY THIS YOU WONT BE DISCPOINTED!

Crazy expensive, best cream for dry cracked hands

This works magic on dry, red, irritated hands. We only use it on the tops of our hands, including knuckles, cuticles, and that dry web of skin between thumb & index finger. It causes your fingertip to drag instead of glide across touchscreens. It’s too heavy for palms and fingers unless you apply it at bedtime. I’d still only apply on the inside of your hand if the skin is in bad shape. is very thick and feels too greasy at first. Just wait. Your skin absorbs it fairly quick considering how heavy it is. The price is prohibitive, and I only buy this ultra rich Skin Food (and the similarly amazing Everon lip balm) when Vitacost has a buy one get one half off on Weleda products. Cult Classic for a Reason

I first heard of this moisturizer not because of the internet or social media, but because my ex-boyfriend's mom used it religiously. She was the picture of grace and vitality so I was happy to learn her ways when it came to health and beauty. Though my relationship with her son is long over, my love for Skin Food remains strong. I'm not one to usually spend more than $10 per skincare product, but after I tried a sample of this, there was no turning back! I've tried maybe three other popular moisturizers between repurchasing this one and absolutely nothing beats it. I use a pea-sized amount (sometimes a little bit more in the colder months) at night after my oil and retinol. It smells earthy and fresh during/after application, and I wake up the next morning with the glossiest, smoothest skin. Give this a try in the winter when your skin needs extra moisture every night after your skincare routine and see the magic. Note that this stuff is extremely thick, so if you're worried about any pore clogging, just use a thin layer on the skin.
