Skin Republic Gold Hydrogel Face Mask 25g

Personally I love this mask! I know some people find it a bit trickier because of the material, but I didn't have any trouble at all! It comes in two pieces which I like, and I have to admit the gold does make it feel more special than other masks. I used it on a warm day which was perfect because it had an almost cooling effect when it was on the face. My skin definitely looked brighter and felt more hydrated afterwards; I would definitely recommend.

Surprisingly this mask is a great fit for the face and sits snugly without sliding around like most others. \nAfter relaxing for 30 minutes I removed the mask and massaged the remaining serum into my skin and down my neck. It absorbs within a minute or two then I follow with my moisturiser to lock in the goodness. After use my skin is brighter, hydrated and has a natural glow. Perfect for the warm night I was experiencing.\nAlthough having more of a rubber feel than being a typical sheet mask, it stayed on my skin really well and felt comfortable.\nAfter around the hour mark I removed the mask and as instructed used the remaining serum to treat neck, decolletage and hands. Surprisingly there was easily enough serum to do all 3.\nI let the serum absorb into my face. It did stay tacky, but not for too long. My skin felt so hydrated that I didn't bother applying any serums or creams after.\nUpon inspection of my skin in the mirror, I noticed that my fine lines, especially the ones around my eyes appeared noticeably reduced. My face also had a fresh glow.\nThe Skin Republic masks I have used are amazing and this Gold Hydrogel version is no exception. I love that I can pamper myself at night as I relax and know that the effects will still be apparent on my skin the next day.\n

I purchased this after buying the fabulous collagen hydrogen mask and was SO disappointed! Upon opening the packaging the mask was in two pieces, a mouth and eye piece. Both fell apart even when I handled them. Even after reading the instructions and peeling off the correct backs first. I never actually got to use the product but the mask itself was a bit too delicate to even apply correctly. So disappointed. The other mask was so fabulous!

Good mask, too much packaging. Lots of juice.

This mask has heaps of juice in it! After using the gel mask I keep the leftover from the foil for next use or few (with my micro-current device, to conduct the current, as it is great for that). Hydrates the skin, plumps and leaves somewhat a bit tacky residue. I use it in the evenings, so applying other skincare over it is ok. There is lots of plastic wrappings from top and bottom part of the mask. Plus gel plus the sleeve packaging. Wish these came i a pack and without excess plastic pieces. It is a bit fiddly as it slides around, so can't do chores while masking. I do wear reusable silicone mask over it to hold the hydrogel in place.

Left my skin feeling really nourished and moisturised

Had a few dry patches of skin on my forehead and they were instantly gone. Smelt great and left my skin perfectly ready for the day ahead and made make up application much clearer. Make sure youre ready to sit down for a while and get comfy watching something so youre distracted. Make sure you follow the directions in regards to the backing paper - makes it much easier!

Like a spa in my own home!

The Gold Hydrogel Mask from Skin Republic was a lovely mask. It had a good layer of serum on the mask itself. It felt nice and luxorious on my skin like a spa in my own home. After leaving the mask on for the full 40 minutes my face felt smooth and looked hydrated. I used the mask in the evening and in the morning my skin looked even better. I would recommend this Gold Hydrogel Mask if you want to achieve a firmer looking complexion. Make sure you have plenty of time to relax, as it is recommended for 30-40 minutes use.

No adverse reactions

My first time buying a facial mask as my skin is very sensitive and I was concerned about a reaction. I was happy to find that my skin glowed after using this product and I had absolutely no adverse reactions to it. I found it very relaxing and I would highly recommend the use of this mask.

Nothing beats this mask
