This sun serum leaves you with a dewy/moist finish on the skin, so if you prefer a matte finish this may not be for you. I absolutely love SKIN1004s Hyalu-Cica line because of the Hyalu-Cica formula, which uses a unique combination of Centella Asiatica Extract and Hyaluronic Acids that leaves the skin feeling hydrated throughout the day and soothes dry irritated skin. It works well with other other products/makeup, have seen no piling. I would recommend for all skin types. If you have oily skin, I would use this in place of your moisture. I have combination non-oily skin, so it feels like it seeps into my skin, not just absorbs! It seems that the skin is filled with moisture, at first it looks a little damp, but on me it completely tightens in about 5 minutes - it leaves a beautiful semi-matte, lively, as if a little damp, but not greasy and not sticky, and so it lasts all day, even in the heat. The finish is unparalleled, I love it! And it protects well from the sun, though I haven't had time to test it on the beach yet, but hours of walking in the sun had no consequences for my skin, even my nose didn't turn red (I have light, thin skin, which burns almost instantly).

Excellent chemical filter sunscreen

I have oily acne prone skin and use sunscreen daily without exception, and prefer chemical filters over mineral ones. This sunscreen has light texture that spreads and absorbs easily. It feels more like applying and wearing a light moisturizer than a sunscreen. It didn't irritate or sting or cause in increase in acne or oiliness. There's no heavy, greasy, or suffocating occlusive feeling or white cast and it didn't react unfavorably on top of other products I use in my skincare routine. It has no scent at all, either added fragrance or the weird chemical/plastic like smell that some unscented sunscreens have. Great sunscreen !

I like this sunscreen more than I was expecting to like it actually. This is the third K-beauty sunscreen I've tried over the last year or so. I tried the famous viral Round Lab suncreen, Etude Sunsprise sunscreen and then this one. And out of all 3 I like this one and the Etude one the most. I will continue using this sunscreen so maybe my opinion will change but so far it gets the job done for my daily uv protection. It does feel a bit more heavy and sticky compared to the Round Lab and Etude sunscreen but that feeling goes away pretty fast when you just let it sink in after applying. That being said, it's not heavy or sticky at all, just in comparison to other sunscreens I've tried! It's very light and almost feels like a soothing soft facecream! Once it has fully sunken in to the skin it gives me this nice glowy glass skin look, not greasy and this is coming from someone who gets a very oily forehead and nose during the day. (Reminder: 3-4 fingers of sunscreen for your face an neck is recommended by dermatologists! I didn't do this for the longest time.)

The best sunscreen i've ever used - please don't discontinue !

I have always had issues with sunscreen, I've used korean, Japanese, french pharmacy, everything... I've used mineral, chemical. It has always clogged my pores, irritated my skin, broken me out, been too thick, been too drying, not worked well under makeup etc. It got to the point I gave up and was just trying to stay inside more.This sun cream is my holy grail. I hope they make it forever. It is such a relief to have found something that really works for me. I buy it in bulk, five at a time, because I know I will use it consistently, and it is cheap enough to buy without worrying about buying it in bulk. I will not be without it.I find it moisturising enough to wear alone in warm summer months but not so thick I can't put my other moisturisers under it. It has such a lovely texture, and I apply it very liberally and wear it every day because it doesn't clog my pores like other suncreams have. Even with excellent follow up cleansing my skin does not like doing an oil cleanse anymore, it breaks me out, so I need a sunscreen I can remove without an intense double cleanse.I found I can remove this suncream effectively with a bi-phase makeup remover and then following up with a gentle foaming cleanser. Completely clean, no clogs, no residue.I can apply any makeup over this sunscreen, including makeup that has a tendency to ball up, and it actually improves how it looks as my skin is calmer, smoother, and plumper. My makeup doesn't slide off. It's moisturising but not greasy.It's just perfect.I also apply it around my eyes with no issues.I use tretinoin and other actives and I don't get any burning or redness.I LOVE THIS. I hope they don't randomly change the formula or discontinue this because it is perfect as it is.
