Full size formulation different than sample? not sure...

I ordered this after trying a sample size which I loved and was excited about. however, I've bene using the full size for a couple of weeks and am seeing raw, red, itchy bumps around the base of my nose and strange whit-ish/flesh colored bumps on my forehead. when I tried the sample, I felt hydration right away and had no strange reactions to my very sensitive skin and was excited to order it when I had the budget. the only thing different about my skincare / habits is this new bottle. somehow it just is causing a reaction on my skin. the ingredients list are identical between the sample and the bottle I purchased. HA Intensifier is now my go to product!

This stuff is amazing! It feels so good on my skin. It feels like a luxury product. I have only been using this for a week and I can already see some slight differences in my skin. There was no scent to it that I can notice. It’s light and airy yet feels protective. I love this product! I purchased this after reviewing some other Skinceutical products and am hoping to try the AGE Interruptor next! I will be sharing my experiences with these products to all my friends for sure! I’m 46 and love this stuff!

Money Well Spent!

If you have a beauty routine, this HA should be in it! Have been using this HA for two years+ now and I absolutely love it. It comes in a box, keep it in the box, no light. One dropper full should do your whole face and neck, I've even put it on the back of my hands, just a tiny drop, ssssshhhhhh. When you are to the bottom, and the dropper will not grab any product, I have found using a q-tip to dip down into the bottom and apply it that way. Yes you use a few, q-tips so as not to double dip, but you get what you paid for! I cannot for the life of me see how a person could use the whole bottle up in one week! That review was BS about this HA! The texture is smooth and spreads easily, and absorbs quickly. No sticky feeling, just smoooooooth. Not as effective as other SkinCeuticals products

I knew the bottle was dark because is evident from all the photos. What I didn't realized until I had the serum in my hands was that the product itself is also a very dark "purple" shade gel. This makes it difficult to keep track of how much serum is left inside the bottle. As you may imagine I didn't want to place this expensive facial treatment directly under a bright lamp or flashlight to double check if I was running out of it. I understand and appreciate that SkinCeuticals uses glass bottles and that some of those are an amber-dark shade to protect products' contents. What I can't believe is that with all the technology available nowadays the company can't make the serum a lighter color or less viscose to help customers to be aware of the amount they have left. ... MoreI knew the bottle was dark because is evident from all the photos. I also thought it was a "runny" kind of gel. I was completely wrong as the gel is jelly like which made me use the whole bottle in half the amount of time I generally use all other products. In addition, the bottle has a fixed rubber/plastic internal "ring" that holds the droplet. (I've owned many SkinCeuticals products over the last 20 years and had never seen that kind of internal holder.) This fixed "ring" makes it very hard to get the product out of the bottle when you are nearing the end of the serum. I expect to use very drop of a 100+ dollars serum, therefore this was very inconvenient. Lastly, my skin didn't have a substantial improvement as with other products from this brand. I used it on a daily basis without any change in my lifestyle routine. I can't recommend it and hope the formula is improved. If not I will not buy it again.

Reformation of the skin. Supple instantly

The HA has saved my dehydrated skin. It give such a supple feeling and look. Since I am still at the beginning stages of using this, I can't tell you the full effect. But I can say since I received it and started using it, it's make my skin much more brighter, I noticed less wrinkles and less redness. The formula is just great. It feels like a gel lotion but it is a serum. It's glides on nicely. I use 3 fingers so with the 3 fingers I put a stirp like down my fingers and blend it it to place on my checks , chin, nose and forehead. I don't need much more than that. If I did, I probably be out of the bottle by now. You should try it out it's worth the buy. Itll help with everyday toxins and to feel refreshed and cleaned. I use it mainly at night before bedtime. Terrible product - torches and dries out skin

I wanted to try the HA Intensifier since I like the CE Ferulic so much. I was super excited to use it then very disappointed. This product completely dried out my skin and it continued to peel for a week after discontinuing use. I used as directed in the AM after the CE Ferulic. I also have experience using a variety of skin products, peels, etc which my skin tolerates, but not this. I e-mailed customer service around a week or so after getting product (so I had barely used) & they didn’t resolve my issue. Instead they assigned me a ridiculously long reference number and pushed me off to call Customer Service which has limited hours and long wait times.

This takes my wrinkles away!

I’m 65 & have bad marionette lines around my mouth (from smiling so much!) I noticed the creases in my forehead and by my eyes were worsening. I received a sample in one of my Dermstore orders & applied it to these trouble areas. By the end of thhe sample, I could see a change, so I bought a bottle; Ive been using it a month now. Saw my daughter for the first time in 6 mos & she kept on & on about how much Younger I look! She swore I got Botox & fillers & asked my husband what I’d had done! I refuse to get any sort of injections in my face & my girls & friends know it. Very good hydrator

First things first. When I first purchased this serum, I was a bit dismayed by the thickness of the formulation. The first few times I tried it, I found it contributed to pilling. I have a fairly complex skin care routine, especially at night, so while I can't say this alone was the cause, it didn't quite fit into my routine. I even tried applying less but it didn't help. So in a last ditch effort to make this pricey serum work, I tried adding it directly to my essence. A couple drops in my palm combined with my usual amount of essence made a huge difference. I'd go so far as to say it even improved it's effectiveness, since hyaluronic acid needs some type of watery element in order to work most effectively. As a side note, I find that products like Avene's mineral water spray also help with HA's in general. But in this case, the viscosity called for something more. With the essence, it is completely absorbed and there is no pilling. I "cocktail" other serums, so I thought "Why not?" With that said, I'm fairly well stocked up on HA serums, but the next time I am in the market for a new one, I think I will try the brand's B5 serum to see how that performs. I'm not saying I would never purchase this again, but given the cost and the fact that I have other options means that I may find one I prefer. I have no problem recommending it to others though, because once I adjusted my method of application, it really does a great job keeping my skin plump and hydrated.

And let me tell you, the change was almost immediate. The next morning, my skin was hydrated, glowing, smooth, plump, and my wrinkles were less visible. And no irritation! The formula/texture of this product is amazing at night and it sits well under makeup as well. I use 1-2 drops underneath my moisturizer, in combination with the Resverstrol BE (which firms, brightens, and protects my skin). This combo is something I will never be without. It is absolutely worth every penny. If you’re over 40, don’t bother with the cheaper stuff, go for Skinceuticals. You won’t regret it. I’m a believer now.
