Sadly the change in formula and reduced sizing has not served this product well. I was always recommending this product especially for Qld weather and sports. It gave you a zinc protection but also was sweat proof!! No sun cream in the eyes, make up didn’t melt off your face on hot summer days…. But now :( I won’t be purchasing or recommending this version. Hope the sweat proof zinc (sports defence) makes a return.

Easy to apply, non greasy and has good even coverage. I thought that 30ml wouldn’t last long but a little goes a long way and it really protects well. I used it on holiday in Mauritius and only felt I needed to reapply once during the day. I will use this under my makeup daily from now on.

Sadly the change in formula and reduced sizing has not served this product well. I was always recommending this product especially for Qld weather and sports. It gave you a zinc protection but also was sweat proof!! No sun cream in the eyes, make up didn’t melt off your face on hot summer days…. But now :( I won’t be purchasing or recommending this version. Hope the sweat proof zinc (sports defence) makes a return.

I have been using the ultimate defence SPF 30 for years and unfortunately it was discontinued which was really disappointing because I loved the texture and it really moisturised my skin without leaving it greasy. I was going to try another brand but decided to try the ultra facial defence SPF 50. It doesn’t have the zinc in it which is disappointing and the tube is 60ml smaller at only 30ml. There needs to be a larger size available. The texture is light and non greasy, it goes on easily and still provides a nice moisturiser like the ultimate defence did. Will stick with Ultra facial as it does provide a nice smoothing effect on my face and is great for applying make up over it.
Skinceuticals is always my fav skincare brand. I have been using it for years before it get sold at Myer. This sunscreen is moisturizing, not too oily and easy to apply to your face. I have a combination skin type, so it’s good to have it before the foundation. The only downside probability is the size.
Really like this sunscreen. Doesn't go on white and absorbs quickly. Nice to use under my makeup or on its own and I haven't broken out at all. With acne prone skin that is always my concern but this sunscreen is great. Pricey for a small tube but worth it.
It is pricey but over the years Ive tried many SPF's and Ive always found myself returning to this one. It never irritates my skin and doesn't cause my sensitive combination skin to breakout. It offers excellent protection and doesn't leave a horrid white cast like so many do. The fragrance is really mild (some are eye-watering!) and a tube will last me a good 6 months. Repeat purchase for me!
It says lotion on the bottle but I’d say it’s more like thick moisturiser. Spf is great, doesn’t irritate the skin, glides on the skin, no white cast etc but defo not good for oily or combination skin. But for dry skin I’d say it would work better. For my oily skin it was too greasy and oily only after an hour or so. Even my beloved Paula’s choice Shine stopper instant matte finish couldn’t stop the shine! (If you’ve oily skin try this product. It’s my only holy grail!)
This sun screen is very good, smooth texture, light but moisturized, good under makeup and offer great protection. I get acne when I use other sunscreen but not with this one. Also good for sensitive skin. I will definitely recommend this as I am stocking up of this products myself.
