I have been using this product for over a year with excellent results. Used to use the very popular CE Ferulic. It is a great serum for brightness and fine lines, but was causing my skin to become more oily, and shiny under make up. Then I read the Silymarin is formulated for oily skin. Love it! The price is high, but you only need 3 drops a day. An investment indeed but the results are worth it.I also found that it pairs well with the Hydrating B5 drops. No issues with oiliness or breakouts and calms the redness.Skinceuticals is the best!

I really love this stuff. But it’s oxidizes SO FAST in comparison to other vitamin c serums. Hence deducting a star. I received a deluxe sample of it and while it smells a bit like hot dog water, really helps with my fa prone skin. Also if I have a pimple and spot treat it with this, it usually flattens out OVERNIGHT! Incredible. But for how expensive this is, it’s rather disappointing and discouraging to buy a full bottle as my sample bottle has oxidized already and I didn’t get it very long ago. Could never use the whole bottle before it oxidizes. Which would be a waste since vitamin c is virtually ineffective once it oxidizes. Still works great as a spot treatment then though.

I’m so glad she did! It has done wonders for my skin - I’ve been using it for about a year and wish it was available this years ago. I wish I had a before photo. This has diminished the oiliness on my face so much, as someone who used to blot her face too many times during the day because I live in a very humid city, I rarely have to blot my face now. Sometimes only once do I have to blot my face but I like the shininess I get near the end of the day because it looks glowy rather than super oily. I also feel like this product helped with my acne. Overall, paired with my makeup routine my face looks flawless nowadays because of this product. I use very little on my face and it works great under the Elta Md sunscreen. The price tag is definitely something to consider but then the quality is something I am willing to pay for. My skin can be randomly reactive but tolerates this serum well. In the morning, I wash my face, apply this serum and then straight to a tinted SPF. It's a sticky serum so my SPF needs to be applied quite quickly, and then my skin looks matte for the rest of the day. Also, when I touch my skin it feels more supple, somewhat more happy. So definitely going to continue using it. Just a tip: keep it tightly closed, keep the bottle in the carton box it came with. Vitamin C is a very unstable molecule and exposed to light and air it does not live long (you'll know this is the case if your serum turns to more brown than yellow). I will criticise the delivery system though- why a dropper SkinCeuticals? For such a fragile ingredient you charge so much and a dropper? Which increases the chances of oxidation.. It should be in an air tight container. When I pay so much money for skincare, I want it to not only be a product, but a solution. Couldn't care less about your fancy droppers, protect your product properly. Because if you are thinking that I'll buy another serum from you if my current one oxidises too quickly it's a no. It's a you problem. But, at the moment, serum itself seems to be doing what it's supposed to so will see what the future brings. At night I use the age and blemish serum, they definitely compliment each other nicely and don’t dry out/irritate my skin. This is hands down the most effective, multi tasking serum I have ever used and it has earned a permanent spot in my routine. Definitely worth trying if you are oily/acne prone. Truly, if I could only have one product it would be this, it’s that incredible.
This was attempt #3 at a Skinceuticals vitamin C serum. The first two were good products but not oily-skin-friendly. This, however, is begging to be on your greasy face. It is not drying at all, sinks right in, and leaves your skin "matte". Perfect "primer" for your lotion (use the Phyto A+ brightening moisturizer if you're ears perked up when I said this product is great for oily skin) It's effective, evens out skin tone, and even helps keep the oil at bay for a little longer during the day. It's very expensive, but a little goes a long way and will last you a long time. I actually wish they sold it in smaller quantities because I get paranoid the Vit C will go bad before I finish it, but so far not an issue. I am on month four of daily use, and a fair amount remains.
