After trying a sample through a friend mid 2022, and since then buying 2 lots of my own, full size (because it’s that good) this has become my favourite cleanser in the shower! Only a small needed , works quickly and doesn’t leave skin feeling stripped. Full size tube lasted me 5 months. 5 stars!

Seven years ago I was stressed and breaking out and was recommended the L-Lactic Cleanser for my skin type. What a game changer! Combined with the correct Skinstitut moisturiser for the season, my skin feels healthy and blemish free. With natural hormonal changes you expect at my age, my face remains healthy and doesn’t let on what’s going on elsewhere! I now purchase Skinstitut for my tween daughter as well so she can develop good skin habits as she enters the tricky teens. Even her little pimples have eased and she loves it!

This is a very strong acid cleanser that I would not advise usage of on a daily basis, and certainly not for dry skin types like myself. You only need very little each time and should avoid leaving it on skin for long and should wash off immediately.I prefer to think of this as an all in one cleanser and acid toner, and use it according to this perception of this product. It is very effective after even one wash so it can be stripping for dry skin types if something hydrating does not follow subsequently. Otherwise, it is very effective at immediately smoothing out the surface of skin and the result are pretty immediate after 1-2 uses.

Thank you for your generous sample. This product isn't good for the skin. It disrupted my natural ph and burnt my cheeks. My lipid barrier is healthy as I use products from a cosmeceutical brands the are hydrating and repairing. This product could potentially be good if they perfected the delivery and feel to skin. I have it to my friend who has completely different skin to me to try and same result.
Switched to this when Proactive was banned after receiving a free sample from somewhere. Somehow this product does an amazing job at keeping the pimples away for my acne prone and sensitive skin, while also being really gentle and not being disgustingly overly perfumed. Highly recommended
If i tell you this has been my only cleanser for the last 10 years do you promise not to buy it all up? I wont use anything else it ticks all the boxes. Price point is very reasonable for the amount, the amount you need to use is so small that 1 tube using it everyday twice a day lasts me a good 6 months at least, seems to magically disappear dull looking skin, the scent is non intrusive, i could go on and on.
I have been using the skintuit range for some time but was using up my previous stock of cleanser. I have just started using the L-Lactic Cleanser, and I love it! It leaves my skin feeling clean and soft, and you only need a very small amount.It's a great addition to my regime, and will definitely continue to use this amazing cleanser :)

I was recommended this cleanser by my aesthetician many years ago at a point where my skin was highly sensitised but also suffering breakouts, and it very quickly became the hero in my daily skincare routine. It manages to find the balance between lightweight and non-aggressive, but actually incredibly powerful and I really notice the difference in my skin texture when I stop using it.My skin runs pretty normal with the occasional breakout, is sensitive and maturing (37yo). You only need the tiniest amount, foamed with water, and I go through less than two bottles per year (using it once per day). Can't recommend it highly enough!
I have been using the L-Lactic cleanser for many years now. It is one of my staple products that I always reach for. Skinstitut an Australian brand, have simple packaging for their range. I use this cleanser for my body because it is an AHA one type of a chemical exfoliant that refines and brightens the skin, I use this especially after the gym or after a day exposed to heat and sweat whilst working outside when I know I will get a breakout on my back, I have found it helps clear my back acne and it does not irritate my skin. This cleanser also hydrates my skin and doesn't make my skin feel dry. It is recommended for dry to delicate skin types. The scent is tolerable and the consistency is gel like and it is so good too. This cleanser doesn't leave at sticky residue.
