Purchased as a special order. Arrived in the time frame given by Jacobs. Easy to build up. Had to wait a week for fine weather but it was worth it. The system found the Sun and needed no correction. So easy no need to have a Sun filter on a telescope and then try to line up the Sun. Great to see a large number of Sunspots.Took the first photos, needed an adjustment to place the image in the center, probably due to the extra weight of the Camera, but still tracked fine with the addition. Work in progress for better pictures.Certainty recommend it as an addition to any Astronomers equipment list.

With a simple push of a button, the mount and SolarQuest will smoothly slew clockwise in the azimuth direction, locating the sun effortlessly. Even if the tripod is accidentally moved, restarting is easy, and the SolarQuest quickly reorients to find the sun.
