Shipping took a little longer than expected, but still enjoying the protective case and added piece of mind with all my guests (with varying skill levels).The level sticker on top has been a very nice addition and quick check for the device being level and straight. Adding an alignment rod to the pre-cut slot in the case helps for added accuracy, as well.

The metal case is a must have! The Skytrak screws into the case and has a carrying handle which put my mind at ease when transporting the Skytrak. The metal case handled the few shanks of friends who are not good golfers which also put my mind at ease. The 3 legs of the metal case allow for easy leveling of the device for the surface I use at home and when I’ve taken it to the range.

The SkyTrak is too expensive to leave unprotected in a room with golf balls flying about. This unit gives adequate protection and makes the unit much more stable - less likely to get knocked over. It's well-designed; easy to use, you can still access ports and buttons, and you can level it as needed. I spent more than I thought was really reasonable, but it's a specialty item.

I received my case about three weeks ago. Luckily I have not had any direct hits yet. However I can say that there does not appear to be any obstruction of the cameras. I have not had any change in the number of shots not detected after using the case. Additionally the level on top has been helpful.
Metal case, great design, keeps the skytrak safe from balls hitting and my little girl who is 2 years and you can play with peace if mind. It should last for the life time of the skytrak and more!! If cost is not an issue.. but price is worth the quality..
The reason I bought the SkyTrak case was not because of my club fast shots. But rebounds off the hitting screen bouncing against the unit or coming uncomfortably close to it. Also I have had two people toe the ball hitting the case. Well worth the cost and peace of mind.
Works exactly as described. Seems very protective. Could see it protecting the case from a bounce back from the net. Also, really enjoy the leveling function. I have a country club elite 4x5 mat and it is nice when I can put it off the mat and it still work, as I can raise it with the cases legs.
Seems to be very durable and solidly constructed. Have not tested that and hopefully won't. Easy to install SkyTrak unit, but the screw holes in the case are nowhere near square to the SkyTrak unit. The case has to be angled roughly 5 degrees for the unit to be aligned correctly with the target line using the alignment function. Other than that it seems good. Unit shipped really fast, which was awesome and speaks highly for Rain or Shine Golf.
The. SkyTrak itself has been great. The protective case is ok .. definitely protects the laser SkyTrak on balls that rebound towards it but I would say it doesn’t register about 20% of the shots which can be frustrating. Not sure whose this design actually is since it came in a plain cardboard box but I think there is definitely room for improvement with shot capture.
To date I haven’t hit the unit but it is a well thought out design and built seriously tough! I have no doubt the protective case will withstand considerably more abuse than the SkyTrak inside will tolerate, even with the case on. I like the leveling legs, you can insert them upside down to dig into the turf if desired.Basically this is insurance for your SkyTrak investment, personally it is well worth the money. I love my SkyTrak and would be very upset if an errand shot or accidental swing destroyed the unit because I didn’t have a case. Buy it!
