The saw is excellent, probably the best mitre saw I've ever used. The only mini gripe is that FFX demo machine was set up with the laser unit and it wasn't explained that this does not come with the saw as standard.

The Festool KS60 is a great bit of kit. If your looking for precision cuts then this is the saw you need. Not over expensive, think ffx were the best value for money. They got the saw delivered to me in quick time too.

Definitely the best saw on the market. I use two, one for the van and another in the workshop. I’m a cabinetmaker and have never been stuck with the KS60.
As my skill level increased I needed to improve my tools. So I went for festool. It is so good. All th dials do what they say. You can set your bevels according to the labels on the saw and they are spot on. The quality cut is really good as well.
I had a bit of an advantage when considering purchasing this saw as I have owned its big brother th KS120 which is a fantastic machine how ever I wanted a smaller lighter saw for the finishing work. I looked at all the competitors saws and although its a bit more money when you consider all the features that this saw has light weight small footprint large crosscut capacity 60 degree mitre angle both left and right variable speed and then 3year warranty 3 year free servicing oh and for 3 years if some scum bag steals it for a flat 100 they will send you a new one. A part from deep section cross cutting on a bevel this saw will cut most section sizes Ive come across.
Absolute precision with this saw, I use it on a daily basis and have used many that dont come close. Best brand in my opinion
Photo is misleading as saw doesn’t come with the light on the side to create the shadow line so be prepared to spend another £50 if you want it
This mitre saw us simply amazing. I have been through a few different makes in the past and this wipes the floor with all of them. it is very accurate. I used it to pitch a hipped roof and the compound mitres are absolutely spot on. I've also used it to trench out wall plates and a few door frames, also very good. The blade that it comes with is excellent. Festool is of course more expensive than many other makes, but in this case is worth every penny.
