I have had this sleep mask for 5 years and I use it every night! I hand wash once a week and hang to dry. It is actually very comforting to put on, and I find that I am more relaxed and go to sleep faster. It does come off in the night sometimes but that is not a big deal, I just put it back on if I need to. It is not 100% light blocking but with my eyes closed and the mask on it works very well. When the one I have wears out I will purchase another.

I loved the eye mask until I had to wash it. Obviously you have to wash the eye mask eventually as it’s on your face every night and after I hand washed it, it didn’t feel or look the same. It felt so nice on my face before I washed it, it was silky smooth and so nice. But after it was wrinkly and it didn’t feel as nice on my face. I didn’t expect it to change so dramatically after one wash especially at this price point. I’m not sure how many people will send an eye mask for dry cleaning but that’s where I draw the line.

I have several Slip masks and they’re probably the only ones I can actually sleep lwith on all night. I did have to stretch each a bit to make it not feel too snug but eventually it worked. I tried a different brand online that was also silk, but this one actually fits better. I liked that the other one had a silk case which is far better than a fancy box.That’s one thing that puzzles me about the Slip masks is that they give you a box, that might look fancy, but it’s not very practical, feels very wasteful, and I did not keep it. I would have much preferred a silk case for when I’m not using my mask and could put it in a lingerie drawer; or for travel.

I also have severe migraines and tension headaches which cause my eyes to be very sensitive to touch/pressure. Every eye mask I have ever worn pushes on my eyes and worsens my migraine. I really like slip and I have been wanting to get it for a while. I’m fairly picky with these things because I get migraines from light sensitivity (especially when sleeping)So I use it every night, the only thing I’d have to critique is that the band is a bit too stretchy and can potentially fall off after more usage. Other than that, I’m not sure how it stands with regular lashes, I have used the kiss lashes and they are great but the slip mask doesn’t really avoid them as I have woken up to my lashes being more pressed down.

I don’t have eyelash extensions, but I love that the pockets give my eyes room to breath. I originally received this as a gift and thought it was just a cute trendy thing. Then I got married and my husband loves to watch YouTube to fall asleep. Whereas I need it to be completely dark in order to sleep! So lo and behold I started wearing these things and now can’t sleep without them! Pricey yes, but they are the best!
