Small Pet Select Pet Hair Buster Comb

I have tried other combs similar to the hair buster, as well as tried diy hair busters recommended on you tube. The hair buster does ultimately work better than others of that style of brush. There is a down side in my opinion to this comb. If you have bunnies with silkier hair it is harder to use and there is a learning curve. I have two baby lion head lops and their long fur is easy to brush with this comb. However my two older bunnies have very silky short hair and I find it easier to just use my fingers to get there big clumps of fur out when they are shedding. I would only recommend this based on type of bunny.

Efficient

Great grooming tool! A faster way to remove loose undercoat during shedding. My buns (mini-rex,one sily and one more fluffy/velvety) didn't like the pulling of the rubber band so I had to put them up on the kitchen counter to finish the job. But... less hair in the stomach means better digestion. So for weekly grooming we will stick to the wire brush (coated tips) followed by the soft bristle brush. Lily is the white one and she is serious about grooming herself, her sister Sage and stuffed bunny.

Fantastic molting comb

I hesitated on purchasing this due to price for far too long. After trying other ways to keep my Hollands molting under control with not much success, I relented. So so glad I did. This comb worked amazingly well on the first use. My wookie of a rabbit,Hugo, looks so much better and no more worries of fur balls. Please do NOT hesitate on this.

It really is the best bunny comb!

A few years ago, I asked around about the best bunny brush/comb available, and several people recommended the Furminator. It worked great, but then I misplaced it, and there weren't any available on Prime, so I ordered this one from SPS. The description said it was the best available, but of course no one really believes that kind of claim. However, in this case it turns out to be true! It got out as much fur as the Furminator, and its rounded teeth seemed to be much easier on my bunnies' skin. They didn't struggle as much as usual. Maybe they'll even come to like being groomed. I'm so glad I took a chance on it!

It’s a very nice comb.

It’s a very nice comb. I was a bit skeptical that it would work on my rex rabbit due to the short dense fur type. It does pull some loose fur out. If your bunny has longer hair, this comb will be perfect. It’s still useful and provides a good massage but a lint roller works best to remove hair for my Rex’s fur type. Using both the hair buster and the lint roller is a good combination.

Know Your Rabbits’ fur if Comb for You

Bought for our two Mini Rex boys. It’s okay but can’t use solely on them. Proper angle while combing is important, not comfortable with ours, as I think just feels awkward. We use in combination with a soft combed bunny brush ~ alternate between the two. I think this comb better for a larger rabbit, or rabbit with thicker (more) hair.

My Rabbit Loves It!

I was so worried to find a good comb for my rabbit since I don’t want her to have hairballs and furs all over the place. When I saw this comb and the positive reviews, I decided to buy it.And she loves it!!! The second I started to comb her fur, she melts to the ground and purrs! Oliver approves

My Oliver isn't a big fan of getting brushed but he tolerates this for some reason. Also he is molting and it has been awesome at getting big fur chunks out gently but effective! The amount of hair I get off him without irritating him is amazing! I wish I had bought this brush sooner. It's good quality and the teeth on the comb aren't sharp they are rounded so perfect for a rabbits delicate body. If you have a bunny that's molting you need this brush. Also works great for regular maintenance grooming.

Wonderful Brush

I really loved this brush! I got it for my cat. He really enjoys being brushed. I usually use a different kind of brush, the rounder one. I was worried he wouldn't like this one. He loves it! And it removes a lot of hair! Which is great I think, because usually I have cat hair everywhere. And he grooms himself often so with all that excess hair, he gets hairballs. I think this brush is helping remove all that excess hair and I'm hoping in turn he will have less hairballs.

efficient and thorough for super shedders

my dutch bun sheds just petting him lightly - the grooming glove filled up way too quickly for him. i found this at different angles was super efficient at getting both loose top fur and bottom that needed to be plucked. he loves sitting in my lap and being brushed with this and i love how long the bristles are that i can brush for a long time even while filling up! my other bun that doesn’t like being held isn’t a great candidate for this and i’ll continue using the glove on her
